Kara's POV

"Honey?"

Maagap na lumingon ako sa pintuan at mabining ngumiti nang makita ang taong kakarating lamang. I put one of the lipsticks down and stand up to greet him formally.

"Levi," agad na bumeso ito sa akin at matamis na ngumiti. "What brings you here?"

"There will be a surprise dinner later for Ms. Qionne prepared by the government to acknowledge her presence. She was been gone for quite long and the mayor of London was Ael Stanley's grandfather!"

Excitement filled his eyes as he clasps his hands in front of his chest.

"Ael Stanley," I whispered under my breath, "yayamanin ang fafa." Dagdag ko pa.

Alam ko namang mayaman ang ex n'ya pero hindi ko inexpect na sobra-sobra. Anong klase naman kasi 'yon? Standard na s'ya tapos mayaman pa?

Wawers.

"Huh? I don't understand the language you used, bub."

Levi glance at me with confusion but I just tap his shoulders and shake my head. He's Jackus' friend which is now my manager. He also know Qionne but he doesn't know that she's my suitor. Ang lakas pa naman nitong magkwento tungkol kay Ael at Qionne dahil ang alam n'ya ay kaibigan lang ako noong isa.

As if naman kasing may pakialam pa ako doon sa part ng alphabet na ex n'ya kung kampante na ako ngayon 'di ba? Oo iniisip ko pa rin ang mangyayari kapag bumalik s'ya pero sisiguraduhin kong hindi sila magkakabalikan.

Kung masasaktan ako pwes lahat kami madadamay---kidding. Kaya wala akong lovelife nito lagi ko nalang kinokontra ang positive energy na dapat ay isinesend sa universe para gumana ang whispering method.

There's a small possibility that it works but what's wrong with trying? Isusugal ko na lahat basta magkalabel kaming dalawa dahil shutangina magb'birthday na s'ya at lahat ay wala pa rin kaming usad. Hindi ko alam kung pagong lang ba s'ya o may mali sa aming dalawa.

Nakalipat na kami ng bansa, nakapagtransfer na ako, at nakabili na s'ya ulit ng bagong bahay dito sa London pero wala pa rin. Love it slow burn ata ang gusto ni Valasubas pero ako gusto ko paspasang mabilisan para proceed agad sa next round.

"Would you like to wear this elegant one shoulder slit midi bandage dress or this one?" I slightly open my right eyes when I heard Levi's voice. On his right was a not so extra, just right on the theme and event too simple dress, and on his left was a polina cutout blazer kleid with a split cuff design. It also has a waist cross bandage that'll surely emphasizes the curves and figures, and the suit collar of the bodice.

Burgundy.

I felt how the eyeliner goes well with my eyes which is doing by my makeup artist before she moves away for a while to look at her on the process piece of art.

"Isn't that too short for the event, Lev?" Napapangiwing tanong ko.

Alam ko namang kaya kong isuot ang kung anong gustuhin ko pero hindi naman 'yung out of theme masyado. Okay lang naman kay Val kung anong suotin ko pero sa'kin hindi.

She's letting me wear what I want and same goes for me when it comes to her.

"Well, Mr. Maximilian Stanley knows that your friend, Qionne, isn't a fan of big parties when the main purpose of why was it made was for her. She barely went to celebrations but I'm sure she will like the party later because I believe that Mr. Ael will be there---"

"Please, lemme see that burgundy dress. I want to wear that one." Agad na pinutol ko s'ya at umayos ng upo. I look at myself through the mirror before pushing some strand of my hair to the back of my ears. "And can you please hand me my phone? I'll just check on something."
