chapter 12

"let's see how well i can do since my hands are all bandaged up" i said and laughed in the microphone. i heard laughs from and crowd and glanced at billie.

i tapped the side of my leg two times, indicating for the crew to start the background music. i then set my guitar in my lap and started playing, it hurt a little bit but not as bad as i thought. i glanced over at billie and she has her full attention on me.

i take a deep breath before i sing my first line. "there's something about you, that makes my feelings seem so true" i close my eyes to focus on my range and voice. "my train of thought gets lost in your eyes, as well as my sadness that says it's goodbyes.

"ever since that night, when we had the encounter, i thought 'damn, i can't be without her'" i looked at billie as i read that lyric. i hear the fans start to go crazy as i was looking at her.

i'm halfway through the song and the beat starts to die down and the lights go out, i set my guitar down and stand up, ready to get hyped as hell. i feel finneas's hand on my shoulder indicating he's there. the light suddenly turn on and the beat starts to get intense, and i sing a lot louder and longer, with finneas playing his electric guitar.

"i just want you in my arms all night long, because that's the place that you belong" as i said those lyrics, i felt tears in my eyes from singing my heart out.

the fans are cheering me up as i get to the last verse of the song. the beat slows down to what it was in the beginning. i look over at billie who has tears running down her cheeks.

i wipe the tears away from her cheeks, and she looks at me with a soft smile. "ever since that night, when we had the encounter, i thought 'damn i can't be without her'"

"i always thought that i would want someone new, and ever since that night, it'll always be you" i dragged out the word "you", while looking at billie.

the song ended and the arena was full of cheers and screams. all of a sudden, billie shot up, grabbed my face, and gave me a long kiss. the cheers were even louder now.

i returned the kiss and pulled her hips into me, we kissed for another five seconds then she let go. we looked at eachother for another five seconds, then billie put the mic to her mouth "that was fucking amazing"

the crowd starts to die down a little bit and i put the mouth to my mic, "thank you all so much, i've been waiting to sing that for a little bit"

billie wiped her tears from her eyes, "alright guys, now the moment you've been waiting for"

happier than ever started to play, and that was my cue to leave the stage. i gave billie a quick hug and jogged off stage, the fans cheering me on as i left.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" kyle screamed as i got there. i gave him a big hug.

"i couldn't have done it without you" i replied.

"holy shit you're gonna be famous" marissa said, running up to me and giving me a tight hug. i returned it.

"that was amazing kai" claudia said, also giving me a hug.

"you guys are the best" i replied.

i watched billie perform the rest of her show and it amazes me how over the past week and a half i've been with billie, i've fallen in love with her and now i've got her. this is the best moment of my life.

billie finishes up her songs and runs back stage, running into my arms almost knocking me over. i laugh as we both start to stumble back.

"don't wrestle me eilish, i'd win in a heartbeat" i say in her hair.

"oh whatever, but man you're music is amazing. what genre is your album?" she asks as she lets me go.

"it's like a mix of r&b, alternative, and rap. there's nine songs but i'm only releasing seven" i reply.

"i'm so proud of you. like so fucking proud" she said, now holding my face.

"thank you so much" i reply, holding her hands.

we spent the rest of the night going out to eat, celebrating my album being released. my social media has been blowing up like crazy, and billie posted my album on her instagram, encouraging people to listen to it, which has gotten me multiple followers.

i'm back at the hotel room, waiting for billie who is currently in a meeting with her team right now. i'm in the hot tub with my headphones in, looking out into the city, the skyscrapers make the night sky glow. my airpods are in right now and i'm currently listening to kehlani.

i then feel arms wrap around my neck, and i smell billies scent. "hey sexy" i hear her raspy voice say, which makes me blush.

"hey beautiful. how was the meeting?" i asked.

she let me go and i see her put her leg in the hot tub, i look her up and down and admire her body, she's wearing a black two piece that fits her perfectly.

"boring per usual" she said, sitting down diagonal from me.

"i hate meetings. i missed you" i said.

"i missed you more. all i could think about was you and your performance today."

"shit i was a nervous wreck, about had a panic attack up there"

"the fans loved you, you know. you need to perform more often with me"

i looked back at her. "really?"

"yes you should."

"alright. all this stuff has me overthinking, like i wanna be famous but i don't, you know? like i want my music to be popular but i don't wanna have to deal with the consequences of fame."

"no i get it, i was like that at first and still am. it'll be okay." she said, she slowly starts moving towards me, i notice from the corner of my eye. i look at her. "i bet i can help you get your mind off of it."

"how?" i ask in a seductive tone.

she moved her legs to straddle my lap, and her hands resting on the sides of my neck. "like this" she then moved forward and gives me a deep kiss.
