11th STREET MAILBOX
14 Years AgoDear Rosie,
It's me. The one you said 'hello' earlier at the campus...but your eyes looked a little sadder. I don't want you to be sad. Honestly, you made my day so exciting. I never thought that you would say 'hello' to me. I will never forget that moment.
You look stunning...as always. I heard you wanted to go to the movies, well, I want too. Would you come with me? Please say yes...I won't accept 'no' as an answer. Just kidding, I hope you will come with me.
My stepfather has this huge, honestly huge library in our house. I know you love books. You went to the bookstore last time with some of our mates, so, I want to take you in my stepfather's library too. You do know about my stepdad's company, right? That real estate company which I really wanted to own someday. I have a competitive brother, his name is Jake, he's just five years older than me and he's my stepdad's biological son...he wanted the company for himself but I wanted to fight. Is it a bad thing to be this competitive? I know I'm just 16 but I want to conquer everything.
Well, as I'm writing this one, I am watching the trees outside. They are dancing. I love enjoying small things in life, it makes me feel alive. Do you love enjoying small things too?
I finished my homework by the way. That's why I have all the free time to write you a letter. My mom would be here after an hour or two. I'm so excited to see her after so many years. Tell me about your relationship with your parents, I want to know about it. Family things really matters to me. I hate being away with my stepdad or my mom. Sometimes my mom watches me while doing my favorite sport...you know what it is? .... 'tennis'. I love that sport. Do you mind playing with me sometimes? We have a court outside.
Another thing is that ... I want to invite you in my mom's birthday. Is that okay with you? It'll be fun and classic! My mom is so good when it comes to party, you can wear anything you want. It'll be next week... on Tuesday's night. I can't wait for you to meet my family. I don't want to put pressure but please... you're the only one that I invited in class because... because I have this feeling that I can't express in person. Please accept the invitation.
Rosie, I will end my letter here. I have something else to finish. Remember that... everything will be alright. Soon, it will be alright. Smile at me on Monday. I miss your lovely smile.
You're too precious to be hurt.
Too angelic to be stuck in darkness.
Too beautiful to live in ugly phase.
You're too sweet to taste the bitterness.
I will do everything to make you smile, laugh and worth it. Remember that Rosie. Bye for now.
Love,
Jared
