"Was this how dad felt?" Keiko felt his heart shattering, remembering the story his father told him as his body felt weak and limp.

The real cause of Tsukishima and [y/n]'s death.

Yamaguchi Tadashi, always known to be loyal with a soft heart despite having bitch asses of a bestfriend.

As you all know, he too had feelings for [y/n]. Do you really think letting go was that easy? After knowing her since they were little kids, did you really think he would let go of his first love that easily? I don't think so.

"I can't wait to show [y/n] what I made!" He walked happily with a box in his hands. It took him about a week to finish this. They were about 12 years old at this time.

He passed through the glass window before ALMOST knocking on the door; but... what was that? He looked through the glass window again.

It was Tsukishima and [y/n]. Tsukishima's head was on [y/n]'s lap. It seemed like she was comforting him about something. Tadashi felt his heart shatter or was it just him overreacting?

He knew Tsukishima had a side he refused to show in public. His insecurities. His problems. They were much greater than Tadashi's problems combined. He knew Tsukishima wasn't so strong on the inside. Inside that bitch ass of an attitude was a soft young boy. Somehow, he needed to vent about his problems and [y/n] was the first person to notice. Despite fighting all the time, they were great friends. Reminds you of two people don't you?

Yamaguchi was the first one to notice the feelings Tsukishima had for [y/n]. Of course he would. That was his first heartbreak. Seeing someone he knew since they were kids, falling in love with someone else. Or did she?

Who would blame [y/n] though? Tsukishima was smarter and had the looks that catches a girl's attention. He was the smart one. The attractive one. Yamaguchi was just a loyal soft friend who would give up anything for his friends. He didn't want any conflict that would break their trio's friendship. At least, he tried to.

He was standing there, in front of his bestfriend who was now dying because of him. He was too blinded with jealousy and loyalty to notice she had feelings for him as well. Now that he had fallen in love with someone else.

She told him all about her plans before she passed. She knew she would.

She wanted to be with Tsukishima for her last day. She had to release all the guilt that built up inside of her.

After discussing and alot of crying, she asked Tadashi to give her phone to her and open the camera and turn on the recording. Yamaguchi knew she was about to say the last wishes she wanted before she died, but he didn't wanna see nor hear it. So he kindly left the room. [Y/N] was about to say her last goodbyes.

After [y/n] and Tsukishima's death, he was the most affected besides their family. It was so hard to roam around and not get reminded of the memories three of them made. His house, the malls, arcades, even the stars reminded him of them. Three of them always loved star-gazing.

They would star-gaze with some snacks maybe once every week when they have time, naming all sorts of constellations.

He hated it.

He hated himself.

It was all his fault.

Thankfully, Yachi was there for him. His last hope.

Tsukishima's mother gave him a box that... they wanted to forget before they left for Tokyo. The box included pictures and belongings of Tsukishima. As well as [y/n]'s phone, which was on his hands before he died.

Yamaguchi picked it up, it was still at 89%. The gallery caught his attention. The video of her last wishes. It was there. But... Yamaguchi couldn't bring himself to watch it. For it reminded him of what he had done. He placed it back on the box and onto the attic.

He wanted to start on a new book. A new story; to restart his life and forget what he had lost.

But the truth cannot hide forever. One day, you have to face it. Face it for yourself. Or it would lead to serious and heavy consequences.

Yamaguchi refused to face it and now look at him. His son's friendship was involved because of him. His son who was growing weaker and weaker every day.

He failed as a friend.

And now he failed as a father.

How would they solve this now?
