I just woke up from my coma. The doctors were checking on me left and right, asking me so much useless questions. They said I almost died a few hours ago. They were so surprised that I actually survived.

"So far we still haven't found a surgeon that can operate her at the moment. All of our neurosurgeons are occupied throughout the week. I think I might have to suggest you to another hospital. Also here is the CT scan of her brain." I assume the doctor handed my mom a copy of my CT scan before he continued, "As you could see this part has some weird particles slowly eating her brain. So far we haven't seen this rare case in our hospital and any of our mutual hospitals doesn't know about this case either. The other CT scan I gave you are the ruptured organs of the patient, causing internal bleeding. We managed to close most of them during the other surgery but based on what we have monitored, it ruptured once again. Our best doctors operated on her and tried their best. This case was somehow unusual and rare that I don't think... she can make it."

I heard the doctor talking to mom. Mom broke down crying in front of him, begging him on her knees to at least try.

"DOC! OPERATING ROOM 1 NOW! WE NEED YOU!" A nurse barged in the room shouting. The doctor then bowed and left with a frown.

"Okāsan..." I reached for her hand as I was struggling to move. Every move I made hurt like hell.

"[y/n]!" She ran to hug me, crying on my shoulders.

"Kāsan... I...I.. can't see. W-wha-" I couldn't feel anything inside my eye sockets. "I'm... blind." My world tore apart. I wanted to cry but I couldn't. Mom cried harder.

"I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY I WASN'T THERE FOR YOU. OKĀSAN WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS OKAY?!"

"Kāsan... I'm scared."

"I know. I know honey." She hugged me tighter.

"It hurts. It hurts so much. I can't."

"Please honey. Stay with us for a while okay? Please."

"Where's Kei? Yams? Did they visit me while I was out?"

"Always. But I don't think it's best to talk to Tsukishima right now. He needs to rest. Can you wait a little longer? For him?"
