Who knew I'd be drawn in?

Looking away takes courage,

I look deeper only to see the pain,

A life of misery,

Your mother died young when you were four,

A father was drawn to a cause,

You were pushed in,

Moving around from place to place,

Never having a permanent home,

A little brother who carries a curse,

You then fall in love,

When she only breaks your heart,

But yet she comes back with a secret,

You gasp in shock at her announcement,

Months passed and you treasure every moment,

Then all that is taken away on a dead-end road,

A future is now gone,

You leave her alone knowing her pain,

But yet you can't let go,

These are the things you hide,

Behind your hazel eyes.
