How can you stare for so long?

Don't your eyes get dry?

Your hand glides on the small of my back,

Maybe I'll begin to breathe again,

I roll over to face you,

I place my hand on your soft smooth cheek,

Those hazel eyes I'd hate to lose,

Short-cropped coal-black hair, silkily like lace,

Your smile keeps me calm,

I am so in love with you,

Your soft lips kiss my hand,

I can't let you ever fade away,

I'm pathetic I know,

We have each other you say,

You pull me towards the warmth of your body,

It's hard to sleep with the beating of your drum,

You tell me I'm one you love so much,

The girl that has stolen your heart,

Soon we'll be one in many years,

In a home of our very own.
