Life in Her Eyes

Long hair,

Hazel eyes,

A smile that could hide the pain,

A young girl, all grown up,

A mother and father who light up her world,

A sister who always picked on her,

All that is now gone,

Now a queen to her people,

Loyal handmaidens ready to give their lives for her,

One, her best friend till the end,

Now steps down to become a senator,

One to guide her people,

She meets him the one,

An apprentice now instead of that little boy she knew,

He protects her from evil,

His mother dies and rage is left behind,

They marry in secret,

Years pass and he comes back,

Both find out they're going to be parents,

His mind begins to wonder,

He turns to evil,

She dies of heartbreak,

Two children must now be protected,

A prophecy is now reborn.
