Basking in the sun of the windy prairie,

I feel your hand caress my soft pale white cheek,

Your short-cropped coal-black hair sways in the wind,

Soft hazel eyes of chestnut pierce my soul,

I'm not afraid of those eyes,

Always luring me with just one stare,

Oh how much I love thee,

I'm in too deep but my heart still keeps beating,

You grab a strand of my light brown brownie hair,

Twirling it in your fingers,

Who knew shoulder-length hair was such fun,

You are the only one, who understands,

The one who never took a second guess,

You've been there since day one,

Maybe someday I'll understand why,

It's been a great four years together,

You sit up as your eyes embrace the sun,

I get up to run as you chase me,

I hide in the crying tears of the Weeping Willow,

The leaves brush up against your peach-colored skin,

You put your arms around my waist as I'm backed up against your chest,

I no longer feel afraid when you're with me,

The tears sway in the wind brushing up against our skin,

I feel your clean-shaven cheek brush up against mine,

A soft kiss lingers on my neck,

I hope this bliss is forever,

Matching rings stick out on our fingers,

Promises made to each other in the past,

To never forget and to be made one forever.
