I see you standing there,

Snow-white fur blowing in the wind,

Ears pointed up towards the heavens,

You sit as your eyes meet mine,

We're not afraid of each other,

We're one in spirit,

Running whenever we see danger,

You run in a pack of many,

I run alone in my dreams,

I do not fear when you're near me,

You are my spirit in the form of an animal,

Fear doesn't run through your veins,

You live for life and love,

In my dreams, I see you every day,

Why do you haunt me so?

What is it about me that you love?

Your eyes of deep hazel while mine are a blue-green turquoise,

Our lives are led differently but we always seem to meet.
