«Ellinor!» Yunho said when she returned to the kitchen. «Will you stay for a while?» He looked at her with hope in his eyes.

«I'll stay for a while,» she nodded and Yunho threw his arms around her.

«Yay!» He saw how shocked she looked and quickly apologized. «I'm sorry, I shouldn't go around hugging everyone.»

«No, it's okay, it's... it's been a while since I last had a hug.»

Yunho looked at her with big eyes. «I didn't think about that. How long?»

«10 years?» She shrugged, but he heard her voice change.

«Then we'll just have to practice until you get used to it again. In this house you won't be able to avoid it.» He put his arms around her again, and this time she hugged back. This tall man with the soft look was a very loving man, and now he pulled her into his chest and kissed her hair.

«Don't squeeze her too hard, love,» Hongjoong teased as he came back into the kitchen.

Yunho laughed and let go of her.

«Come, let me show you your room.»

On the third floor, under the sloped roof, Yunho opened the door to a small but cute room. There was a wonderful smell of fresh linens and cleaning supplies. The room was small, but the bed looked comfy. The window had a view of the streets, which felt weird for someone who was used to living in the woods. She smiled.

«Thank you, this is amazing!»

«It's not big, but I hope it'll do.»

«It's perfect, Yunho! Thank you!»

«The only bad thing about this room is that San and Wooyoung has the room next door,» Yunho said with a wink. «Which is why there are earplugs in the night stand.»

Ellinor laughed, and Yunho smiled. He never heard her laugh before.

«You have such a beautiful smile, Ellinor. Welcome to our house. Would you like to rest for a while, or should I show you more of the house?»

«I don't need to rest.»

Yunho showed her around the house. Ellinor got to see where everyones room were, though he didn't open the doors when they weren't there. A little privacy was nice. Sunwoo though opened the door to her cute, slightly messy room. Ellinor chose to not acknowledge the flirty tone of voice.

«Sunwoo, please,» Yunho said as she once again joked. «I think we all know that Ellinor needs a male alpha, not a female.»

«Well, that's not really up to the omega, now is it?» Sunwoo teased.

Yunho rolled his eyes and brought Ellinor along. «Don't mind her, she would never do anything you didn't want her to do. She looks tough on the outside, but she's really a good alpha. She has proved that to the pack time and time again. You can trust that Sunwoo always will do what the pack needs.»

Ellinor nodded, that was a relief. Any alpha was a potential threat to an omega, simply because of genetics. Ellinor couldn't deny something an alpha decided with its power.

That day Ellinor helped doing laundry, folding towels and she made dinner together with Yunho. The other wolves returned to the house during the afternoon. Yunho didn't say much about what everyone was doing, but some of them seemed to work ordinary jobs. She accepted that she wouldn't know everything at once. Maybe she never would.

At dinner most of them were back. Ellinor was introduced to the last few she hadn't met yet. They were a big pack living in this house, and the atmosphere around the table was very nice. Ellinor wasn't used to eating with other people. Trying to remember things like common table manners would take some time. 10 years on your own did things to you.
