Ellinor knew her father had en evil plan long before he came to pick her up. He found joy in being mean to her, which was a new low. She remembered him as distant and strict in her childhood. Whenever they were in the same room, he would avoid looking at her. She knew better than to meet his gaze. He was a true leader alpha, one who would be happy to prove that even his omega daughter had to obey his every whim.

Ivy still had some happy childhood memories, only because of her mother. She was allowed to be with the animals she loved. Her mother would send her away with other wolves when there were bigger things happening in the pack or around her father. Ellinor would miss her mother, but she knew it was for the best. She was a good student, a friendly child, though a little rumbustious. When her mother died, that side of her came out more.

There wasn't much left of that wild child when her father came into the cellar to find her on the cement floor.

«You could have had a bed now, omega, but chose to disobey me. You really should know better.»

«Forgive me, alpha,» she whispered, barely audible. He still heard.

He liked that she called him alpha and not father, like she had the first day. He didn't see it as the bad omen it really was. That thin personal thread they had been connected by had been torn.

«Let me show you something,» he said.

A guard unlocked her and put her in handcuffs instead. She was so weak that they didn't fear her getting away.

She barely glanced over at him as they drove through the streets of the city- He sat in the drivers seat, she sat next to him. Behind them two guards sat. He seemed to enjoy playing human. A vicious, cunning human.

«Does it look familiar, omega?»

Ellinor was weak, but not that weak. Tears fell down her cheeks as they drove down the street she knew so well. There was no use in trying to pretend anything else, her sobs exposed her.

«I thought so. I'm told this is where you lived?»

The alpha stopped in a familiar driveway, and she was dragged out of the car, towards the front door. The guards wanted to break through the door, but her father didn't want to waste time and effort.

«Open the door.»

Ivy shook her head, still crying. «I don't have a key.»

«Open the door!» he repeated, and with a whimper, Ivy opened the panel behind the number sign. She put in a code and the lock clicked before the door opened ajar. «That's what I thought. Don't even think about making any trouble.»

«No alpha,» she whispered.

«You're going in first.»

«Please, father, let me wait out here.»

«Go inside!» her father roared and Ellinor couldn't do anything other than obey him. As her tears kept falling she saw the corridor, saw clothes hanging there. Seonghwa's jacket. She reached for it, but her father pulled her along. Something smelled bad in the kitchen, food or trash had been left behind in the rush of leaving.

«God damn pigsty,» her father mocked her.

Ellinor just cried. She loved this house. It felt like home. She had been welcomed here, even when they didn't know her story. And when they learned her story, she was still welcome.

He pulled her around the house. She reluctantly showed him her own bedroom when he forced her. One room she kept her distance to though, and of course he noticed. She tried hard to pretend like nothing when they passed the door.
