The signals are hijacked and switch to an unknown channel where Dabi is shown, sitting with his shirt and jacket off, showing off all the burns over his body.
Mikoto got a good look at Dabi and the moment he did...it made him went down a memory lane to immediately realize who the villain was...
Mikoto:*Shock* T-Touya...?
Sylvia: Eh?! Touya?! Mikoto... isn't that name of your decreased cousin?! Why would you call Dabi-?!
Mikoto: BECAUSE DABI IS TOUYA!!!!
Class 1-C: ?!!!
Sylvia: W-What?! (But I thought his cousin died! What's going on?!!)
To confirm Mikoto's answer. The broadcast as Dabi confesses his identity as Touya Todoroki, eldest son of Endeavor.
Jack: No Way...
Mio: OMG...
Souta:.....(What? Endeavor had another son? I thought Shouto Todoroki was his only kid...)
Dabi also confesses that he has killed over thirty people and he wants to let everyone know why. He reveals that Endeavor has had a long history of being power hungry, and in his despair and desire to surpass All Might, he forcibly married a woman who would birth him a child who would possess an even stronger Quirk. While he was born as a result of his selfish dream, he was deemed a failure and tossed aside.
Souta: *Shock* W-What?
Kenji: Kobayashi?
Jack: Huh? What's up with you?
Zoe: Kobayashi...You look a little green there...
Noticing that Souta's demeanor had changed. Everyone besides the villains gave him a look of confusion and concern.
Souta: N-No...No! He's lying! That can't be right! Endeavor would never do such horrible things!
Knowing that Endeavor was Souta's favorite hero brought guilt inside Mikoto's chest. Just hearing all this must a huge shock to him.
Souta: N-N-No...Endeavor...Dabi must be lying...this can't be right...
Souta looked at Mikoto, remember that he is indeed a relative to Endeavor even if the snow user denied it.
Souta: M-Mikoto...This is a lie right? One big fat lie, right? I mean I know you never liked Endeavor...but...this is a lie, right...? Right?!
Mikoto:.......Souta....
What Mikoto said next crushed Souta's views on Endeavor, completely destroying the idol heroism that Souta had for the Number One Hero.
Mikoto: (I'm sorry Souta...but it's time you know...the dark truth of my cousin Shouto and his family...)
