"THE CODE. . ." BILL held his hand to the hologram, his fingers following what Becca was doing to the stone. His brain engraved the sequence for the code to the transcendence for all mankind. They would best the creatures that killed the people inhabiting Bardo before they moved in, and they would transcend to greatness, thanks to Commander Falo.

Falo blinked once at the hologram, her body twitching from all the torture he did on her to get to the memory of the code that was passed onto her from all the previous commanders that died too soon. She saw how excited Bill was and she felt so guilty. Becca did all she could to hide this from him, her her longest commander gave it up because of a child she grew to love as her own.

Falo breathed in and out. Right now she didn't give a damn about the code being found out and that they were all going to die when he proceeded to the anomaly with the code in his mind. She just wanted to know where Madi was and if she was okay. Falo called out to him, "Where's my daughter?"

Bill slowly turned around. "Who?"

"Madi. Where is she? Is she alright?" she whispered to him.

Bill cracked a smile, he brushed his hand through her brunette locks as if she were his own daughter. "She is in the other room. She is okay," he sighed. "I'll let you see her when we transcend." he told her.

"No!" Falo yelled. "I want to see her right the hell now. I gave you the code, I get to see her." she hissed.

"No, no. . . that's not how this works-" he started off.

She cut him off. "It is actually. We made a deal!" she cried.

He sighed. "You do remind me so much of my own daughter, and even myself, Falo. You look like daughter and even sound like her. While I long ago would've done anything to save my daughter even if it meant I'd be a war criminal. Which is what you could've been if we were living in the old world." he smiled.

"I don't care about abt any of that! I am not your daughter, I am not you, I am Falo!" she screamed at him, her eyes wild. "I want to see my daughter! I want to see my daughter!" she continued to repeat it in a screaming voice for a whole minute.

Bill glared at her. "You are wasting my precious time. . . like I said earlier, Falo, when we transcend you may be able to see her when we are in the stars, when we are one. You will be together forever when I grant us safety and when I transcend all of us," he stepped away. "I promise."

Falo started crying when the needles in her head was lifted, except for the restraints on her hands, then he left the room with all of his soldiers to begin the last war for their transcendence that they would never get for it wasn't real. It was all make believe to give themselves a purpose. She felt like the code was just a code to another world that was full of bad things.

When he was gone, Falo pulled her hands out of the restraints with all her might, she cried and screamed as she pulled on them. She rubbed them raw when they were rolled out the restraints. She rubbed her wrist, letting out a deep sigh as her body shook from the event. She breathed in and out, swallowing thickly. Madi could've been dead for all she knew.

Falo picked up a medical embalming tool. She pushed her hand against her head, the world was spinning around her. She felt numb for a split second. She felt like collapsing on the ground and sleeping forever, but her mind wanted her to keep on going for Madi.

Opening her eyes, she was standing in the hallway. The commander didn't remember walking out here. She looked around and there was not even one soldier left behind by Bill. She was safe to get to Madi, she was just fine to leave this room without getting herself killed by stepping two feet out this room.

Running down the hallway and peeking in every single room, finding she wasn't in any one that was close by. Falo's heart was racing a million miles right now as fear wrapped its claw around her tender heart. Her vision zoned in and out, but she kept going forward.

She ran her hands through her hair. She could keep looking for Madi to make sure she was okay or she could go after Bill to stop the transcendence from happening.

Falo shook her head. It shouldn't have been up for discussion in her brain. She had to go after Madi, Bill could wait and he could transcend with the rest of his people. Falo wouldn't be apart of that whatsoever. When she found Madi, they were getting the hell out of here and back to Earth where everyone else was waiting for them.

If they were still alive. . . there was a chance they were, but it was slim.

Falo listened for voices. Bill wouldn't leave Madi unsupervised. He left Falo because she didn't seem to be in the condition to be running around. Yet here here she was. She was going to fight all of the odds against her to find her daughter. She didn't care if she died doing so.

Voices appeared to be talking down the hallway in a room nearby. Falo smiled in relief. She approached the door and stood to the side. Her hand waved in front of it and she threw a pin in the room. The voices grew quiet, then the footsteps came.

Falo clutched the medical tool in her hand. She waited until one of the soldiers were in the doorway. The moment they were, Falo raised her arm and struck them in the neck. She pulled it out and stuck the tool in their neck again and again until the guard laid face down.

There she was. Madi. She was laid upon a chair, her eyes lighting up when she saw Falo standing in the doorway. Madi never felt more happy and relieved that Falo was alive, that she survived what Bill put on her to get to the code. Falo was walking through air basically as she approached Madi, her heart swelling up and a smile placed on her face.

"Falo." Madi happily called out as she waited for Falo to pull off the restraints.

All of that died when a gunshot ripped through the air. Falo froze in time as she watched blood splatter the wall behind Madi, a small wound created on her forehead, Falo's reaching out hand falling to her side again. Falo watched as her eyes turned lifeless. She slowly turned her head and saw someone standing there. Without thinking, Falo threw the tool into their neck.

She turned to Madi. "No," she whispered. "No. No!" she sobbed. Falo laid her head on Madi's chest, heaving and crying. "This wasn't supposed to happen! I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, baby. . . Madi, oh god." Falo sat up from Madi, her gaze turning dark. "I'm going to kill him. He won't get away. No, no, I will avenge you, my sweet, sweet-" she paused, sniffing. "He will pay."

With that, Falo was on her way out.
