"BECCA'S JOURNAL IS AMAZING!" Raven exclaimed, turning the pages of the yellowed leather book. "At twenty-six she found a pathway to access the human mind. That same year, she had to lock up ALIE because her answer for what was wrong with the world was 'too many people'. She was twenty-seven when it launched the bombs."

Falo sucked in a breath as she looked over Raven's shoulder into the book. She now had the knowledge that ALIE wiped out the world, the old world that she sort of wished she had been a part of at times.

But now, ALIE was back because of this man named Jaha, and she was trying to take over everyone here in this new, wasteland of a world.

Since she wiped out the old world because there was too manu people, she might wipe out this world, too, by taking the chips and having them all kill themselves or others after she's conquered the entire world.

"What did she write about the Flame?" Clarke asked. Falo had already broke it down for them, but she wanted to see if there was more to it than what Falo knew.

"ALIE 2.0," Raven stated, causing Falo to cringe. "She saw it as a way to atone for her sins. She designed it to not just access a human mind, but to merge with one. It could never wipe us out, because it would be one of us. She would put it in herself. Altered her genes so her body wouldn't reject the implant."

Clarke nodded, looking at the Trikru girl. "That's exactly what Falo told us. . . Bekka Pramheda, the first commander. The gene therapy made her blood black, didn't it?" Clarke looked at Falo. "It made her a Nightblood."

"Yes." Raven slowly nodded, not exactly knowing what that was, but she assumed it was what they called the black blood, what Falo and her people called it.

"Nightblood is somehow hereditary, right?" Clarke asked Falo, who nodded. "Well, Luna has it, too. That's why we have to find her. If she can access ALIE 2-"

"She can tell us how to stop ALIE 1." Raven finished, astounded at the intelligence of the idea.

Falo nodded with a small smile, knowing that it was their chance of survival. Luna was how they kill ALIE, how none of them die, and it will hopefully bring everyone who had been chipped back.

"Bekka Pramheda gets her second chance at atonement." Sinclair added.

"Get back to the mind pathway," Monty said, his eyes glued to the chip in his hands. "If ALIE uses it to upload our minds to the City of Light, there's a chance my my mom's still alive."
