FALO HAD TAKEN RAVEN OUT OF THE MAIN ROOM and into a small, secluded room above the main room to let her cool off, to keep her away from everyone until they got all the blood they would need for Emori in order to do this right this time. To walk freely instead of being prisoned in a bunker would be a blessing, it would be amazing. But a lot of things would be destroyed and the world wouldn't be what it used to be, they would have to adapt all over again like the grounders did when Kalliope Pramfleimkepa helped them adapt to their radiated world.

Raven bounced her only good leg up and down, looking out the windows of the room, watching Abby extract Luna's blood through sheer rage.

Falo sat at the computer, clicking buttons until a song randomly came on, booming through the radios in the room, startling her. Raven turned to Falo in confusion, furrowing her eyebrows.

"I like this tune," Falo stood up with a smile, nodding her head to the beat of the music, reaching her hand towards Raven. "May I?"

"What is this?" Raven asked, glancing around.

"It's music, Raven, you never heard of music?" Falo chuckled.

"I have, but-"

"Just shut up and dance with me." Falo told her, which she did with a huge smile, suddenly forgetting about everything going on in the beautiful world, the same world that was trying so hard to wipe out the human race by sending Praimfaya to take over the entire world yet again.

The pair swayed their hips, Raven did the best she could, and moved their arms side to side, laughing in joy and happiness. Falo spun Raven around, being careful not to hurt the girl's leg. When she spun her back around, she spun her into her chest and she smiled down at Raven, moving their bodies all over the room. Raven laid her head on Falo's shoulder and Falo laid her head on Raven's own head, slowly moving to the music.

"This is nice." Raven whispered into her ear, tracing on Falo's arm.

"It is. . . especially with my beautiful girl friend standing right here." Falo smiled, her cheeks turning a scarlet red.

Raven furrowed her eyebrows, a grin playing across her lips. She looked into Falo's dark, brown eyes. "Is that what I am now?"

"Duh," Falo spun her around again. "You always have been since the day you kissed me."

Raven giggled, smiling brightly. She was surprised at herself that this woman standing in front of her made her this happy. Falo even got her to dance, she always managed to put a smile on her face, she always made her genuinely happy, and she made her want to live to see another day, she wanted a future with the woman who got her to dance.
