FALO WALKED THROUGH THE WOODS, her feet growing tired from all of the walking. She had crossed the border for the kill order of Skaikru awhile ago.

She told them that the new commander had risen so she ditched Skaikru and was now heading back to Polis before she mentioned that Lincoln was dead.

She wiped her face, still in shock and in sorrow that both Lexa and Lincoln were dead, two of her best friends she'd grown up with just gone.

Never once did she ever think that she would so many people so fast. She never thought she'd lose her brother, Rio, she never thought she'd lose Lexa, she never thought she'd lose Lincoln either.

She knew that everyone died and stayed dead, unless you were a commander then your mind would live on forever, but she didn't think she would lose them this way. She always thought they'd die of old age.

Falo suddenly remembered a memory with Lexa from a couple years ago.

"Lexa!" Falo yelled in happiness, running down the hallway and towards her best friend, her sister, her commander.

"Falo." Lexa smiled, holding her arms out for the girl.

They crashed into one another, giggling as they did so. Falo locked her fingers together as they held each other, joyful tears in their eyes.

Lexa and Falo hadn't seen one another in about a month due to her having to go train, go to meetings, or helping with looking for nightbloods.

As they pulled away, their smiles were still huge as they looked at one another in pure genuine happiness and love for each other.

"How are you, sister?" Lexa asked, placing her hands on either side of Falo's shoulders.

"Great. . . how have you been?"

"I've been good, apart from the duties of a commander," she paused. "Costia wants. . . she confessed feelings to me when I came back, and I didn't know what to say."

Falo widened her eyes. "Go and find her now, tell her you feel the same. . . it'll be magnificent. I promise."

Lexa rolled her eyes. "What did I tell you about making promises?"

Falo laughed. "Shh. . ."

They both erupted into a fit of laughter, shaking their heads at one another before Lexa pulled her in for a side hug by grabbing her shoulder before they walked down the hall.
