FALO STOOD BESIDE OCTAVIA WITH HER ARMS CROSSED, her face red and puffy from the tears she'd cried all night long.

Abby and Raven had let her and Kane out of the cell only an hour ago before she took him to medical and treated his black eye which Falo apologized for repeatedly while Raven assured her that everything was fine.

As the gates opened, she glared at Bellamy, at the blood that coated his uniform and face. Haunted, hollow eyes looked back at hers when he met her gaze.

Tears fell down her face almost immediately, a sob forming in her throat, dropping down to her knees as they buckled.

As she dropped down to her knees, she began sobbing, hot tears streaming down her face as she wailed.

She didn't care if everyone in Arkadia was able to see that she weak, that she wasn't as strong as she was made out to be especially since he and Pike had murdered all of those innocent people in their sleep, Indra included.

As Bellamy walked past, he tried his hardest to not look down at her as Octavia dropped down to her knees, wrapping her arms around Falo's fragile body.

Pike had stepped up into the platform before he spoke. "Listen up! Twenty-four hours ago, you elected me as your chancellor. Every action I've taken since, and every action I will take, will be to achieve one sacred goal: the creation of a self-sustaining, prosperous, and safe Arkadia!"

Falo managed to look up at Pike, her teeth gritted and her eyes darker than they ever have been before like she wanted to kill the man.

She didn't believe that they were safe here in Arkadia with him in charge, he was an extremely dangerous man who would lead them all to their deaths.

The crowd cheered in response, making her stomach churn.

"This morning on a muddy field," Pike continued, relishing in the praise. "Our people payed tribute to those who have been taken from us, by sending a message to the grounders. This land is ours now!"

Everyone cheered as Falo pushed Octavia off of her and staggered to her feet.

"Resist and you will be met by force. Fight and you will be greeted by death!" Another pause for cheering. "Today is a new beginning. Mark it down, remember it, just like the Grounders will remember it!"

Falo turned to Lincoln as the crowd cheered yet again. He looked as hurt as Falo was, neither of them deserved their people getting killed.
