Lilith's POV

Two years later...

Today, my family decided to move again. I've known them long enough to know that we never stay in the same town for long. This year is going to be Glasgow. It is different than London, our previous 'location', but it isn't that bad. I just have to get used to it, like always and it will be easier. I know it because I'm a pro at this. Getting used to stuff, I mean.

I'm the oldest of three sisters, and I've always felt like I don't belong in this family. I'm like an outsider, because I don't look like my parents at all. My hair is curly and black, while my eyes are green with silver traces. My parents and sisters are the opposite: they all have blond hair and blue eyes, but that isn't the only difference. My skin is almost translucent while theirs is tanned and beautiful. I'm just a stupid girl that gets all freckled if she spends more that an hour exposed to the shiny sun.

I stare at the trees that fly around as our car speeds by. We are heading to our new home, getting the last things with us. My bags were the last ones to be put inside, because I don't have a lot of stuff, besides clothes and hair products. My belonging are inside the bag that lays under my feet in the car. A few books, my diary and my teddy bear are the only things I can't spend a day without. My teddy bear is old and ragged but it's the only thing that helps me when I'm down or can't sleep. I know I'm already fifteen, but it still makes me feel safe and loved.

Dad is staring at me from the front seat and I finally 'wake up' from my daydream, realizing that the car is already parked in front of an amazing skyscraper. Almost fourteen floors, as my mom said a couple weeks ago. Blue windows cover up most of the building, and the sun hitting the building burns my eyes. Amazing first impression...

I leave the car and start heading to the front door. Dad is following me and I see that I'm the only one carrying a bag. They took everything up there while I was out. Good for me, bad for them. I just need to take my backpack and nothing else.

We take the elevator to the tenth floor and enter our new apartment. It's huge and comfy, just the way I like it (the comfy part because I couldn't care less if my house is big or not). Mom tells me where my room will be and I lock myself inside.

I'm speechless. My room is absolutely perfect! I'm speechless. Blue walls and blue bed sheets... Perfect! It even matches my hair. It's dyed blue and white, because they are my favorite colors in the whole world. And now I have them all around my room. The bed posts, bedside tables and wardrobes are made of white wood, and the window has blue curtains hanging from the small holes on the ceiling. Weird but cool.

"Mommy!! Sophie is showing me her bugs again! She is spraying them all over my stuff!" Jazmine's voice booms around the house.

Oh Sophie, always the animal lover. She's just too sweet for her own good. Jazmine and Sophie are twins, and they are the opposite of each other. While Sophie likes animals and the outside world, Jazmine is more of a Barbie doll, always dressed with the latest brands and skirts. I prefer Sophie but I'll never admit it. We aren't that close after all. That's one of the reasons why I feel and outcast here. They don't show any sign of affection towards me. Never.

It's already late, seven p.m. maybe, so mom calls the pizzeria down the street and buys us some food. We are in a warm silence and as soon as we finish our meals, each one of us goes to their room and start getting things done. I'm really tired, so I skip the cleaning part and put my pajamas on. The bed is so comfortable right now that I don't really care if there's something untidy around me. I rush to the bed and turn all the lights out.
