Dodging the incoming fist from his uncle Res managed to avoid a fatal blow to the head. He knew better than most what a pure blooded Ashura could do and what his uncle was fully capable off. The hall looked on in astonishment at what was happening. A child from out of nowhere claiming to be the son of Espex was now fighting on even grounds with Dypes.
"You are very nimble boy!" spat out Dypes as he shifted through the room.
"I learned from the best!" Barked back Respex.
Swinging his sword down Dypes side stepped but a strange sensation overwhelmed him as his arm disconnected from his body. Blood exploded out of his shoulder and he looked fiercely at the boy. He didn't understand what had just happened. He dodged it didn't he? How then was his arm on the floor and the boy left smirking at him?
"Do not underestimate me! This sword carries the blood of my family and the sword saint. There is more to it than just a sharp blade." Respex said as he stabbed forward.
Dodging once more Dypes back flipped away avoiding a clear area of the blade. Holding his shoulder Dypes smirked and using his good arm pulled out an entire new arm from his wound. A vortex of white horror embraced the arm and a feeling of uneasiness filled the air. Clutching his new arm Dypes looked Res in the face and saw Espex looking back. He was his son and a threat. Samth still holding the body of Espex watched in horror at this young boy fighting on even grounds with Dypes. She wanted to say something but she couldn't. She was spent she just watched like the rest.
What happened next was a blur of pure action. Both Dypes and Respex bolted to each other, one swinging a blade the other fists and feet. Each would counter the other and vice versa the exchange went on for a good minute. Blood exploded from Dypes with each swing and he would grow back a new limb or heal his wound.
Huffing Res screamed at Dypes. "I will kill you! You ruined my life!"
"Try boy but you will fail and if you say is true then how can I ruin what has yet to pass?"
"I spent my entire life running, training all in the hope to survive the hell you and the king have brought in order to find peace. I watched my mother loose an arm to you as she protected me from you. I watched Jmor get his soul ripped out his body as he tried to behead you. Set the man who trained me in the art of sword fighting I watched him split in two as your demon form devoured him. Countless mage died by your hands and by mine I will avenge them!"
Stepping on floor forward Res raised his sword above his head.
"This is my true art from I combined Ashura fighting style with Set's style finally." As Res spoke mana surrounded him and crawled around his body up the blade to morph it into a living breathing steel creature thirsty for blood. The hilt turned to teeth and embraced themselves into Res arm and hands. Exploding out his mana morphed his eyes into a dim purple and his hair a shade of blue. "Adding mana to this I got my title it was the last gift my mother gave me before her death. I am Respex God Killing Sword Saint!"
Bursting forward the floorboards exploded and the walls shook. This fight was far from over.
