Standing above a pile of corpses, the strange figure looked around the ground before picking up a strange object. “Damn you Haya, could have kept the crimson clouds out a little longer.” Said the strange man as he placed a white mask with no eyes on his face. He dressed in blue runed armour and had a long brown hood that draped over his head. He hid inside an old house inside total darkness. “I can’t let loose outside now.”

He started to make his way through the house when a bang behind him and the noise off armour clanking got closer to him. Draik stood watching the knight approach him.

“Why hello.” Draik said he had a very posh accent and spoke calmly.

The knight looked around to see bodies of his comrades lying around lifeless. “What is this?”

“Can’t you see? Dead bodies I mean really it isn’t hard to see is it? Well it is dark I forgot you people can’t see in the dark, shame really.”

“Enough! Surrender and come peacefully by orders of King Coext!” The knight was young and honest a trait Draik liked in people. Shame he was on the other team.

“Am afraid I am going to have to decline good chap. How about this? You leave and you live?” A fear pierced the knight he couldn’t explain it but the strange masked man gave off a presence that made him want to run and scream.

“I can’t! I am a knight of One I must do what I must to protect this land!” The boy used his words to give courage and strengthen the reason he fought.

“Bold words boy.” Draik said as he appeared behind the knight.

Fear entered his body and he watched the Draik he was talking to melt into the darkness. The knight tried to turn and fight but he wouldn’t move he couldn’t. The darkness held him in place. He could feel Draik’s hand pick him up by the neck and spin him around. Dropping his weapon to the ground the knight looked down at the mage hold him up with one hand.

“You should have left when you had the chance.” Using his other hand he took off his eyeless white mask to reveal a normal face. He had peachy skin and eyes greener than any field in summer. Then he smiled. His front teeth normal like any others but have the first four he held fangs larger than any tooth. His tongue was split in the middle and it held two large spikes of its own.

“What are you!?” screamed the knight.

“Very old.” Said Draik as he bit into the knight’s neck.

Draining the body off all fluid Draik dropped the body and licked his lips. “Thank you for the meal.” Once again placing his mask on his face he turned back to walking down the hallway.

“I better head to the church I have a feeling I am needed. Isis will have a field day when I tell her I failed my mission.” Walking forward he chuckled “Well I could always just eat her.” He boasted as his laughter got louder.

“Hey I hear laughing someone’s in there!” screamed a knight.

“Ah so much food today, I wonder will I get fat.”
