The morning was slow; forever it seemed to go on for. Samth’s slim body was sore all over from the previous night’s training. As usual Dypes walked ahead of her not talking at all. Weeks this had gone on Samth was near her limit. She needed company she felt more like a prisoner than a companion. She had wondered if this was his goal? To break her and send her on her may. A small lashing of rain had started as they walked closer to the town.

“This is the village of Frui. It is rich with trade we can get some information on the war and of our target.” Dypes said as he marched on not even giving Samth a glance.

Samth just kept quiet and followed as usual. Another hour of walking and they finally reach the town. It was rather busy with all sorts of stalls selling exotic goods. The scene reminded her of when she first entered the white city of Gord. Xam a nice merchant had given Samth the silver chain she kept around her neck. She held it tightly a small piece of a happier past. The local guards were independent of the Kings army. The guard of Frui much like the guards of Gord only cared about their area of protection.

“Will we be safe her?” asked Samth as she spoke she rubbed her hair back.

“Yes Frui is a natural town, it only cares for profit.” Replied Dypes as he stopped in the paved ground.

“Around the corner from here is a small house. I want you to go in it and ask for premium. Do you understand?” Samth just nodded asking why would be a waste as Dypes would not give her an answer. “Good meet me back her tomorrow morning.” He then preceded to hand Samth a large sack of coin.  “Go nuts buy what you want. It’s you who will be carrying it anyway.”

A little scorn flashed in Samth’s face but she stopped herself and thanked Dypes before he wandered off into a group of people.

“OK let’s go to this house.” Samth said to herself.

She walked for a little bit finally at a slow pace. Taking her time she listened to the hustle and bustle of the town and its people. Men and women shouting about their wares trying to get a sale. It made a smile cross Samth’s big red lips the first smile in weeks.

The house she was looking for was small and a little run down compared the rest of the town. The town had big buildings all with shops in the bottom floor and merchants outside. The stone they used was white and smooth nothing Samth had seen before it was nice and had a unique smell. This house however was dirty and its windows cracked. The door was old wood with cracks running down it. Samth sighed and approached the door and gave it three knocks. Inside she could hear the murmur of a woman before a bark came from the other side of the door.

“What is it?”

Samth was taken back but said her line none the less. “Premium?”

The door swung open and a tall slim woman stood at the door. Her body was perfect from an hourglass figure to long curly red hair. Her eyes shown big and bright green. Gripping for any man Samth even found her a little lustful.

“Well well well.” The women said. She walked out the house and wondered around the tired, unclean Samth. Her clothes ripped, muddy and beaten. “Imagine seeing you here.”

“You know me?” Samth questioned.

“Know you personally? No but I know of you. All of Skov knows of you Samth. You are Samth the Angelic killer of Espex and tied highest bounty is Skov.” Her voice gentle and sweet like butter to the ears.

“What!?” Gasped Samth.

“You haven’t seen?” A smile across the goddess face. “Come in I will show you the bounty papers. I keep them as a hobby.” She raised her arms towards the door welcoming in Samth.
