I am a king of a great kingdom that stretches further than any eye can see. I earned my seat by fighting to the top. In this kingdom only the strong survive that is the first and only rule. I still remember my first fight I was so scared but once I started that left me. I remember the feel of the hilt as it slide into the tender gut of my opponent.
My rule here has been the longest in our history but I grow old and my strength wanes. Soon I will be bested and the great god of war shall claim my soul and I will fight for eternity in the great white field. However until then I will not hand this title to just anyone.
My castle is huge and filled with strong men all willing to die for my name and land however they are also willing to die for my crown. A double edged sword but one I have grown comfortable with.
We have honor you see. I must be challenged publicly. Assassination is not in our nature and we would rather die than use these means. I looked down at my kingdom and bustling city. Walls of pure white high as any building and as thick as any castle.
My ancestors built it when we were once weak however now we are strong dominate and unstoppable.
"Sire! I have news to report" the one who spoke was my second in command a great man named Grypes. "He has entered the city our main forces have been destroyed! This is our last stand!"
I smiled and stood off my great chair. I looked out my window and stared at the smoke rising from the distant.
"This is my order and you shall listen to it to the very last. Gather all the men, women and children you can and sent them north. From hence forth you are lord!" I pulled my red medallion and threw it at Grypes.
He nodded and ran out the room. I knew we would he has a great man and knew better than most what situation we are in. Going to my seat i sat back down and the great halls opened.
A figure if a slim man wondered in and greeted me.
"So you are the trouble maker? I expected more but then you use strange mystic arts I am told."
He never replied to me he just stared with intense hatred at me. Good this made it easier after all I want a good fight. Standing up I readied my body I knew I was the best but I also read the reports. This man was strong insanely almost a god in human form. However he same could be said to me.
"Today my reign will either end of continue on. However it may be will be. I do believe you have hunted and killed countless of my people. I do hope they taught you out custom? Before a fight he introduce ourselves a small thing to remember your killer or victim." He remained silent so I continued. "I am the king of this land and leader of it's people. My name is Asrex Ashura."
He finally spoke as the room around me became cold and an uneasy feeling filled my being. This man made me feel fear. I couldn't help but smile. If I fall today will be a good death.
"King Asrex I am but a lowly commoner nothing but a urchin. I had a name but I left it behind for great power and for when my parents died at the hands of your blood thirsty clan. However a nameless man is still to much to kill someone. You all know me as Skov. I am the avatar of the four and your doom!"
One last look at the window and I charged forth. Thrill entering my entire body finally a wonderful opponent. Win or lose history was going to be made.
