Chapter Eleven

3RD P.O.V

The party continued on until it was just the Avengers left. Bucky and y/n were sat together on the sofa, y/n spinning the knife in her hand. Doing all kinds of tricks with it."So, I hear someone was 'busy' outside?" Sam said leaning back on the sofa "well, I got more than you would in a year" y/n smirked laughing when Bucky groaned "really?" he asked looking at her, though she just shrugged "it's true. Sam is a women repellent. We have just kissed and that's more than he'll ever get" Sam was glaring at her "y'know you wouldn't even be together if it weren't for me" he said proudly confusing y/n "Sam here, said you looked hot and Winter's got jealous then stormed outside, to which you followed and now you're together" Clint explained gesturing to each of them "huh, well I guess I owe you a thanks then. But I still believe you're a women repellent" y/n said raising her glass "I'll take it" Sam said making the group laugh "guess that means she's getting laid and you're not" Tony said smirking y/n said nothing only threw the knife between Tony's legs, inches away from his crotch.

The night drew on, booze and laughs until the alcohol had gotten to practically everyone, meaning it was time for bed. Steve, Bucky, and y/n were the only one that weren't drunk, the others however were gone and had headed to their rooms "safe to say they'll have wonderful headaches in the morning" y/n laughed walking through the halls with Steve and Bucky "okay first, how many bottles have you had? And two, how are you not drunk?" Bucky asked frowning "uh...don't know and I can't get drunk. My metabolism is like yours, so is my immune system. Saying that, I'm knackered and have training tomorrow with Natasha. Finally get to do something other than sitting still" Steve chuckled knowing how y/n wanted to get back into training "that also means you get to spar against Bucky. You did say you were gonna beat him" Steve said resting his hand on Bucky's shoulder "With or without my powers, I'll definitely beat him" y/n stated stopping at her door "suurree. I'll be sure to go easy on you" Bucky said playfully "alright you two, get some sleep, you'll need it" Steve said with a smile as the elevator door closed.

Bucky stood in front of y/n, laying his hands on her hips, her arms wrapped his shoulders playing with his hair. "I had fun tonight" y/n said quietly "so did I. I wouldn't normally go to one of Stark's parties, well sometimes Steve drags me to them saying it will help you get more comfortable around other people. But seeing you there, I never fault so nervous in my life" Bucky said making y/n giggle "I didn't think I'd ever have the nerve to tell you how to felt, let alone kiss you. I guess it was just a clique moment that made me" y/n nodded agreeing "you may have kissed me, but you have yet to tell me how you feel" she said in a playful tone. Bucky gulped hard "well...I...uh..." y/n couldn't help but giggle at his sudden nervousness "you were fine kissing me and nearly having Steve thinking the wrong thing, and now your nervous. Too cute" she smiled "don't worry, I feel the same. I like you a lot too" Bucky let out a sigh of relief looking down "you really do know to mess with me, doll" he said laying his forehead against hers "one of my many traits" she said making Bucky laugh. "I best let you get some sleep, Steve will want me to up early for our run" Bucky said pecking a quick kiss about to leave "nuh uh, that's not a goodnight kiss" y/n said pulling him back.

Wrapping her arms around his shoulders, she pulled him down slightly still on her tiptoes. Bucky gently lay his hands on her hips massaging her skin again. "That's a goodnight kiss" she whispered stepping back off her tiptoes "that certainly was. Night doll" Bucky smiled "night Bucky." Giving him a final smile, y/n stepped into her room closing her door behind her. A massive smile on her face as she bounced and squealed in joy. Bucky heard her giggling and laughing, sounding like a little kid, making him smile even more as he entered his room.
