''WHY'D YOU CALL?'' I ASKED, TURNING MY EYES BACK TO THE screen. I watched Miles shrug his shoulders, his eyebrows popping up.
''Just wanted to see how yer doing, that's all'' He responded as he drew a smile across his face. I went through my recent events and nothing seemed to be enough to keep him interested for a longer length of time.
''Oh, I got your flowers. I loved them'' His smile grew wider at the excitement coloring my tone.
''I'm glad, it was my way of saying I really miss yeh'' The hint of sadness in his tone made me pout slightly. It felt like I hadn't seen him in years rather than just a month.
''Oh! I haven't told you, haven't I?'' I excitedly spoke and his frown turned upside down as I cleared my throat, preparing my words. ''I got a job at a very successful modeling agency'' I announced, receiving a wide grin from him.
''That's amazing, yeh realleh deserve it'' He shook his head, laughing at how satisfied I looked to finally be taking a step that would lead me to what I genuinely wanted to achieve.
''It's a great feeling, Mi. I feel so good about myself'' I said. He let out some other proud words before growing silent again. Perhaps I had prolonged the conversation about my recent happenings a little too much. ''So, how are you?'' I asked and he sprung up from his previous position.
''Uh, well let's just say yer not the only one who's proud of what yeh have done'' With a grin from ear to ear he spoke. I immediately demanded details of this occurring of his. I watched him explain everything and couldn't help but show my shock at how much he'd been up to.
''Wow, you've done a lot of things. How long have you been in London? Like a month? And you did all of that? It's impressive'' He nodded at my remark with a thoughtful face, realizing that my words held the truth.
''Yeah, Al said the same thing'' I pursed my lips at the unexpected drop of his name. But did not allow my expressions to show it, instead I feigned another smile, nodding my head. ''I actually wanted teh ask yeh if it'd be a good idea if yeh dropped by for a visit'' He spoke with an edge, something that I frowned at.
''Huh. I hadn't thought about that'' I bit my lip, concentrating further on his words and how expectant he looked after they left his mouth. ''You know, it's not a bad idea actually''
''I know yeh'd 'ave teh do various things in order teh come here, but I would realleh like it'' I nodded in agreement. And suddenly the percentage grew higher. Perhaps I would buy a ticket after I assembled my affairs and thoughts. ''It could also be a good opportunity teh distract your mind from the worries it holds''
