"You are seriously heartless, no?" I raised my brow at her comment as she sat on the ground recklessly
I looked at her in disbelief because of her actions. While other princesses would try their best to act prim and proper, this princess in front of me is sitting so recklessly on the ground, not minding that it's actually poison ivies.
"You do know you're sitting on poison ivies, right?" I asked her and she glared at me
"You do know about my blood's ability, right?" she retorted full of sarcasm before proceeding on lying to the ground with her hands on the back of her head
"But you still need to be careful, detoxifying poison consumes your blood. You might run out of it at this rate," she just rolled her eyes on my reminded
"Wouldn't that be better? That way no one has to protect me, no one has to get hurt, no one..." she closed her eyes before sighing
"No one has to care..." she muttered and I created an ice block for me to sit on
"Is this what it's about, Sin?" I asked her and she glared at me
"What an insult," she emphasized each word
"How did that become an insult, huh?" I asked crossing my leg and turning to look at her
"What, you agree with them that I am a sin?" she asked me and I met her glare
"Isn't that what you said your name is?" I retorted and she averted her gaze before sighing
"Well, that's true," she nodded her head and looked up
"What made you think I'd insult you using your nickname, huh?" I asked her again and she removed her hands from supporting the back of her head so I made solidified mist to cushion her head
"They never told me... but I felt it... I mean... I am basically a living sin," she chuckled and sat up
"I symbolize the defiance of those witches to normal inheritance of abilities," She sighed
"Says who?" I asked and she looked at me in a bored manner
"Says everyone?" she retorted sarcastically
"Everyone who knows? And who are those everyone exactly?" I asked and she sighed
"Hmm... the witches... Cupid and you..." she mumbled
"We don't think you're a sin, I don't think now and never will I ever consider and think of you as a sin." I said and she chuckled bitterly before looking at the lake before us
"You're the only one who thinks that, your highness." She replied
"And so will the other people once they know the real you, and no one can hurt you as long as we're here." I assured her and she chuckled
"The child of Fate, the heir of time, the living epitome of a perfect prince," she said sarcastically and looked at me in a bored manner
"Ah, she sure got the guts considering she's the living epitome of irony." I shook my head while retorting and looked at the lake before us
"Oh, should I be honored that my ability is purification but I seem to be spitting poison to you right now?" she asked and I sighed before looking at the changing color of the skies
"Let's go, it's getting late," I offered my hand, standing up, and she rolled her eyes in front of me
This lady really has unbelievable guts for her age.
