Chapter 27: Warm Up

Miracle's POV
I woke up the moment I felt the sun hitting my face.
I'm currently here at the garden. I slept here last night since I wasn't able to do my next task.

It's the last task. I've been here for almost 2 months. I know how to control Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Ice, and currently Grandad wanted me to make the Plasma Rays.

I wanted to do it so badly but I am always failing.

“Good Morning, Hidea. Did you sleep here again?” he asked and I nodded
“Still unable to do it?” he asked and I nodded.

“Eat up, Hidea, then go inside and get yourself ready we're going to a place that I think will help you.” Grandad said and placed a food tray on the table.

I started eating breakfast when he left. While eating breakfast I kept on trying to do the task.

I know that my stamina is already depleting because of sleeping late and waking up early, just like now.

Last night I rested at 1AM and its currently 5AM.
4 hours of rest isn't very helpful.

I ate and then I went inside of the palace with the tray and then went to my room and took a bath and changed.

While taking a bath I rested my body and relaxed it. It's been stressful months and hard trainings.

I looked at my hands and sighed.
The callouses and the wounds have been healed by the healer but it's still painful when I overuse my magic.

After taking a bath I dressed up in a pair of jogging pants and jacket. I wore a black sando under my jacket then went out.

I met Grandad in front of the Palace.

“Come, Hidea. We are going to travel by foot.” he said and a cloud appeared at his feet

“You can't use magic, by the way.” he said and I started jogging after him.

Well the cloud he is riding is moving moderately.

It's kind of tiring but I have to endure it.

We went through several boulders that I have to jump over and climb unto then I jumped and reached for the three.

I kept on swinging from one branch to another.

“Keep up, Hidea.” Grandad shouted from in front

I grunted and kept my grip on the branch and swung faster and faster.

My arm muscles are already aching but I need to endure it.

A little later we arrived at a river so I quickly jumped and swam after Grandad who is still floating.

I'm already tired and the sun is already at it's peak.

It's so hot on land yet this river is damn cold.

“Can you still do it, Miracle? You can just tell me if you give up.” Grandad asked and went alongside me.

I am currently running up a mountain. The sun rays are already hot when it hits the skin.

“No, Grandad! I can still do it.” I said determined

I kept on running and I saw that Grandad is already moving fast so I ran faster.

Later on we encountered a wall and Grandad levitated up so I started climbing up the wall.
