I was gasping for air when I woke up. I looked beside me and I saw Hope's pale body, I clenched my fist and used it as support in sitting up. I remembered what the Queen of Fantazia had said when I met her while I was unconscious.

It's a matter of perspective.

I heaved a deep breath and called for the Spirits of Magic, for Dike, to be precise. I closed my eyes and focused on summoning the Spirit of Death. I need to accept the fact that at this moment, Hope is safest with them, with Death.

"You called, Miracle?" he asked and I opened my eyes to meet his

"Please, take care of my sister," I said and he looked at my sister before me

"I will," he said and I smiled before looking at Hope's body

"I will finish this for the two of us, I will see you later, Hopie," I told her telepathically even though I know she will not receive it

"Thank you," I said and he disappeared along with Hope's body

It's time to settle this. Dragging this longer will only lead to hurting more people, I... I have to settle this with Selene, once and for all.

I touched the dome and it shattered like glass to my touch, I stood up and in the debris of the dome I made to protect us, I walked towards Selene... no, Mommy Selene.

I saw her throwing magic balls towards a cluster of barriers, I think the Celestials are inside the clusters as I saw different elements flowing on the barriers.

"Mommy Selene," I muttered under my breath and I saw how she looked at me with wide eyes that then reverted to scrutinizing and sharp gaze

"Miracle Heaven," her sharp gaze landed at me before she suddenly appeared in front of me and began choking me with her bare hands

"Listen to me, you brat," she uttered with anger laced in her eyes

Eyes that I once saw reflecting her love for Heaven...

Eyes that softened at the sight of Hero's smiles and voice...

Eyes that flashed relief as I woke up after overexerting myself with using magic...

When I woke up after I lost my heartbeat during the time I met with the Spirits of Magic...

Eyes that once reflected care and affection for me and my sister...

"I am your mother, you may be Heaven's reincarnation but I am still the woman who gave life to you and I can and I will take that back as I please." She gritted her teeth

"Why?" I hardly asked and I saw how her expression changed

Her grip on my neck changed, it loosened a bit, and with that, I realized that she was driven by anger and that's when realization began to dawn on me.

Like the people in the memory that I saw in my subconscious... I chose to look at her in a bad light after I found out about her mistakes... I chose to ignore who she is when I met her...

"Why do you want the power so bad?" I asked and coughed

Her mistakes, her sins, are unforgivable, she killed her sister and split her daughter's soul in half, all for power but... that doesn't necessarily mean she can't change, that maybe... just maybe she wanted to change... and we... no... I pushed her back into darkness.

Maybe meeting us made her want to correct her mistakes, to repent, but when we pushed her back into the corner where she once was, we also pushed her back into believing there was nowhere for her to return to anymore.
