Chapter 7: Her First Mission (EDITED)

Miracle's POV

I feel like someone's shaking me, waking me up. I felt something cold on my arm, it seems solid at first then it was liquified.

"Hope, I'm awake," I mumbled and slowly opened my eyes

Why does my head feel kind of heavy? I mean it literally.

I saw Angeline, Angelina, Ash Eve and Hope squatting on front of me.

"Ahm, Mira, ikaw nalang gumising kay Zero." Angeline said and they stood up

Wake who up? Oh, Zero...

Wait, who?

I held the head on my head and carefully pushed it then I removed my head from leaning on his shoulder. How did we end up here?

"Zero," I gently tapped his shoulder

"Zero..." I called him and tapped his shoulder again

He looks so peaceful when sleeping, so different from the cold demeanor he always has when he's awake. I start to recall how we end up here and I recollected that we were on our way to the cafeteria when the students began screaming, like in the mortal world when they see my cousins. Then, Zero brought me here.

"Zero," I gently pushed his shoulder and I was a bit surprised when he held my hand

"I'm sleeping." He muttered and suddenly I felt electric current flow in my hand which made me take it back

"Zero," I called him and he opened his eyes

He looked at me then at my hand which I'm now holding.

"Asrivar," he said and stood up

"I'm fine, it wasn't painful." I replied and stood up on my own

When I went out of the library, Ash asked me immediately if I'm okay and I found out that Zero had a tendency to throw lightning balls when he gets woken up.

That's what happened yesterday, that's why as we walk to the cafeteria, Hope is holding my hand, Ash placed his arm on Zero's shoulder whose hands are in his pocket, Eve is beside me and Angelina and Angeline are next to her. I didn't understand what they say about seeing us in a different situation though.

When we arrived at the cafeteria, we headed to the table that as Eve explained is reserved for the students of the Elite class.

Ash, Eve, Angeline and Angelina are seated next to each other across Hope, Zero and I. I'm seated between Hope and Zero. Ash once said that they don't sit next to Zero because he's cold, the only exception to that is Angelina who's often with him when she's not with her twin, Angeline.

Hope explained to me that the Elite class, despite having the word "class" don't have their own classroom as they only have six students, but they have their own training room and professor in Powers and Ability class.

"ATTENTION! CALLING THE ELITE STUDENTS PLEASE PROCEED TO THE HEADMASTER'S OFFICE."

"I REPEAT, CALLING THE ELITE STUDENTS PLEASE PROCEED TO THE HEADMASTER'S OFFICE."

"Di ba muna tayo kakain?" Ash asked and stood up

"Paghintayin mo si HM kung gusto mo." Hope replied and stood up as well

"Tara," Zero said and I heard Ash whine as all of us stood up and follow Zero

I still wonder how I am part of the Elites when I haven't gone through what they call "leveling".
