Chapter 44: After The Attack

Miracle's POV
After the attack last week, the Academy's security became tighter. The barrier was improved and now it covers until halfway to the forest.

Mommy Selene said that it's better if Hero stays in Fantazia while we're not yet finished with reclaiming Hope's throne. Hope still doesn't know anything about what I did when we were in the Darkian's territory.

Hope and I are currently training for the upcoming attack to the Dark Manor. Well, after she reclaims her throne, she said she'll study for a while but I doubt that.

“Seryoso, Twin. Mag-aaral parin ako.” she said while our swords are clashing
“Pwede ka naman magpaturo sa mga naging teachers ko.” I reasoned out and dodged her attack.
“Kaya ko pa mag-aral.” she insisted but I shook my head and blocked her attack
“I doubt that.” I retorted and attacked her

After several clashing and swords, I was surprised when she was able to place the blade near my neck. She helped me stand up a little later and we both ended up laughing.
I suddenly remembered our fencing classes. Hope always aced that one.

“Isa pa? Dark Ice to Dark Ice?” she asked and I nodded
We walked away from each other and then when we have a huge gap, I threw dark ice spikes which she dodged. She placed her hand on the ground so I jumped but it was just a play to make me jump because she the ice spikes. I had to dodge it while on air.

We kept on exchanging attacks and the training room is already filled with dark ice.
I made a sphere to protect myself from her attacks. Hope's getting better everyday, we've been training everyday before classes and within two weeks time she's already capable of attacking while planning.
On the first three days, Wren, Ben and Ant taught us how to manipulate a sword fight and to tell you honestly, Hope aced it in a day while I got used to it after a day. Swords aren't really my think because I prefer throwing weapons but they said that it's better that we know more than one skill. Everything is unexpected in a war after all.

“Argh!” I grunted when an ice shard sliced my arm.
“Sorry, Twin!” Hope said while laughing.
I shook my head and stomped on the ground and ice spike sprout out in her place but she managed to jump and stand.

We were just manipulating the ice around us now. I made an ice wall to block the ice spikes she threw me. I threw ice spikes back go her and rolled on the ground to go to another place.

Ice spikes started raining while I'm rolling so I made and ice wall above me when I hit a wall.
I stood up and threw ice spikes at Hope's direction.

“Whew!” we were both panting when we stood up from the ground.
“Ang galing!” We looked at Ash who had just came in
“Naging Ice room na tong training room.” Draco commented
“Yelo kasi ang ginamit namin.” Hope said and we began to absorb the Dark Ice.
“Ang galing niyo.” Eve said
“Nadaan sa training.” Hope replied

“Nandito sina Ben three days ago.” Tory said and I nodded
“They taught us.” I said and we went out of the training room.

We saw the Headmaster so we bowed.
“Good Morning, Headmaster.” we greeted
“Good Morning, Elites.” he greeted back and looked at us
“Where is Yuri?” he asked and we exchanged glances because we don't know
“Probably with Alicia, Headmaster.” Eve answered
“What are you doing at this early?” he asked looking at us one by one
