I hugged her and cried. I told her that Hero was sent back to his time and that he'll only come back when the threat's gone.
"Ayos ka na, Twin?" Hope asked me while hugging me on the side.
I nodded and I felt her kiss the top of my head.
"Minsan naiisip ko, bakit kaya sa lahat ng tao, bakit ako? Bakit ikaw?" she said and I felt her head lean on my head that is leaning on her shoulder
"What do you mean?" I asked her
"I mean is, bakit sa dinamirami ng tao, bakit ako pa yung naging kakambal mo? Bakit ikaw pa yung pinarusahan ng ganito?" she asked and hugged me tighter
"Iniisip ko minsan, bukod sa pagsisinungaling, ano pang kaya mong gawing mali? I'm not mad at you for lying, ever, because we both grew up lying to everyone kaya hindi kita masisisi kung ang unang solusyon mo ay ang pagsisinungaling." She said and I looked at her
"Malapit sa'yo si Hero, kung tutuusin, halos parang totoong anak mo na si Hero. If you were Goddess Aquamarine's reincarnation, I would be very happy." She said which confused me
"W-why?" I asked her
"Because it means you have all the rights to Hero, no one could take Hero away anymore. Every time you're with Hero, even though you're sometimes having a hard time balancing taking care of Hero and studying, I can see that you're enjoying as long as Hero's there. I know why you're hurt right now and this is what I never want to happen." She said
"Thank you and sorry." I said and hugged her
"O ba't ka nagso-sorry? Kung nagsinungaling ka man o naglihim sakin, tanggap ko yun." She said which confused me
"Bakit? We're twins and best friends, we had a pact that we should alway back each other up and shouldn't lie or keep a secret from each other." I said and she tapped my shoulder lightly
"Kasi, Hopia, hindi lahat ng bagay madaling tanggapin, madaling sabihin. For example, yung sikreto ko, the Elites are our friends, but I lied to them for years. I never showed them my real face and kept wearing the mask that makes me look like you until you came, almost half a year ago." She said
"You had reasons. It was for your safety." I told her
"And I know you do too. We'll be together for two months, you have that time to tell me anything you want to tell me, I'll accept it but you know I might have a hard time dealing with that too, if you have a hard time with it." She said
"We'll be gone until the first day of May." I said and she nodded
We heard a knock and Tory came in. She was smiling but worry is still evident in her face.
"Nasa baba na sina Ishie at Kim." She said and we nodded
Hope went out while I decided to take a bath and wash my face. After taking a bath, I saw that the gown is already on the bed so I removed my robe and wore the gown, I dried my hair using hot air and then went down.
"Upo ka dito, Heaven." Eve said and pulled me to sit on the chair between her and Angeline.
"Pikit na." Ishie said so I closed my eyes then I felt Kim's hands on my hair.
"Bagong ligo ka, Master?" Kim asked
"Yeah." I said then I felt a brush touch my eyelid.
