Antonio was a businessman with a kind heart who only acted tough out of fear of being rejected  I can say that with complete certainty no matter how many times I messed up or didn't give it my all he would yell and then show me how to fix it but never once hold it over my head, I remember this one time I messed up real bad.

We were hired to fix the water purifier in a different part of the city to ensure clean and fresh water was not still terminated by something that was slowly making the residents severely sick but something went wrong I fucked up and use some cheap parts from the market to save money but they completely useless that simply just made the problem worse.

He took the full blame and paid them for my mistake that time he didn't yell at me he just grabbed two beers and sat down in front of the TV giving me one of them, I waited beside him until he said this ( I'm not mad, times have been hard for my shop and I'm no fool we need a dangerous high-paying job I've been avoiding them because you are still new to this life but it about time we make money)

That Decision Change Everything

All it took was one mistake we had to separate into 3 teams to fix three generators and something went wrong when one of the teams was attacked by a beast leaving the rest of us in the dark about what was going on when my team was attacked too by a Giant corpse with a cannon fuse to its arm this where everything gets fuzzy I remember.

Fresh Blood, Salt Water, and Rust splashed my rubber boots as I scampered through a steel tunnel making my way to the generator that powered the door to freedom I clutched my pistol so hard my knuckles were red, I stopped to see if that thing was still following but just saw a flash of light and heard a gunshot before I knew it a short figure was running towards me.

They grabbed my arm and pulled me underwater as I tried to fight the shock, my eyes met a young child's eyes but before I could question it, he covered my mouth, as undead hulking Brute sauntered past us and viciously smashed the generator to the point there no way to even use it for scrap metal.

We both shot out of the water to take a breath of rustic-filled air, the child who saved my life was dressed like a little gangster from the 1930s and wielded a saw-off pump-action shotgun, he helped me to my feet and called over the radio that a Cannon Buster was on the loose and the generator was destroyed.

He turned over to me and said ( geez looks like both our pay is getting cut, and I'm probably getting fired too see you around lady hope you have better luck than me) I replied with ( wait have an idea that still ends with us getting some money)
