'Follow me,' Xuan says.
He holds my hand and we walk into the middle of the room, where other people are dancing.
He gently puts his hand on my back, and pulls me in closer. He holds my hand in one of his and we dance.
People turn their heads towards us, but we continue dancing.
'Where are you from?' He asks.
'Spain,' I reply. 'What about you?'
'Vietnam,' he says. 'My family is in the mafia.'
'I'm here as a guest,' I say.
'Whose guest?' Xuan asks.
'Adriano's,' I reply. 'I'm sure you've heard of him.'
He spins me out and I spin back into him. He dips me down and pulls me back up.
'He seems protective,' Xuan says.
'He's busy right now,' I reply.
'Well then, let's not let him catch us dancing,' he smirks.
We continue dancing until someone pats Xuan on the shoulder.
'Mind if I cut in?' Terzo asks.
Xuan sighs and lets go of me.
'I'll see you later love,' he says.
Terzo pulls me in and we dance.
'What the actual fuck do you think you're doing?' He snaps. He actually looks serious for once.
'What do you mean?' I ask.
'Stay away from Xuan.' He says. 'Do you know how bad it looks that you're dancing with the son of the enemy mafia when your date is right over there!'
Shit.
'Well how the fuck was I supposed to know that!' I snap.
Terzo spins me out and brings me back in.
'Just stay away from him,' He repeats. 'Adriano looks like he's going to rip the guy's throat out.'
He twirls me around, letting go of me and I manage to end up in Lorenzo's arms.
'Terzo spoke to you? He asks.
'Yep,' I reply.
'Adriano's not going to be too happy,' he says sympathetically.
'I've realised,' I say.
'Alessandro's turn,' He says spinning me around. I trip and fall into Alessandro's arms.
'It doesn't look too good,' Alessandro says.
'So I've heard,' I reply.
'Now all the men are going to be after you,' he adds. 'Because they think Adriano won't do shit to them.'
'It's not my fucking fault,' I snap. 'Adriano told me to socialise.'
'Yeah but not with the enemy,' Alessandro laughs shaking his head.
I glare at him.
'Adriano's walking this way,' he says. 'Good luck.'
Alessandro twirls me around and Adriano catches me.
His hand slides to the back of my waist pulling me in tighter.
'Did you enjoy your dance?' He says through gritted teeth.
'Yes, I didn't feel lonely anymore,' I snap.
'You shouldn't have done that,' he says.
'You told me to socialise.' I snarl.
