Chapter 76:

*ANOTHER SEVEN HOURS INTO THE FLIGHT*

I wake up to the feeling of something falling into my mouth. I spit out two popcorn pieces and see Terzo and Alessandro standing in front of me with popcorn , cupped in their hands.

Amira's next to me, sleeping and I see that my blanket is covered in popcorn.

'I'm going to murder you!' I exclaim.

I get up and start beating Terzo and Alessandro with one of the pillows that was on the seat.

Alessandro swiftly grabs the pillow from my grip and holds it above his head.

I can't reach it.

'Guys give Dilara a break,' Xuan says rubbing his head.

'No,' Terzo laughs.

'You were asleep for like seven hours, that's too long for you to be peaceful.' Terzo says putting his hands up.

'It's literally dark outside!' Xuan signals to the night sky out of the window.

'Out of everyone, you pick me?' I snap.

'Everyone else is asleep and Zoya would quite literally strangle me with her own charger.' Terzo explains.

Fair enough.

I guess Zoya's still pissed at him because of the whole Aiden argument.

'Ustedes son idiotas,' I mutter.

Translation: You guys are idiots

'Gracías Chica,' Terzo replies, butchering the pronunciation.

'I don't think she complemented us,' Alessandro laughs.

I barge past them and go to the toilet to quickly freshen up.

I open the draws under the sink and open a small bottle of mouthwash and use it.

When I come out, I hit Terzo at the back of his head and flick Alessandro's forehead.

'Shit, your nails are sharp,' He says.

'Good, I just got them done.' I reply.

'Ragazza spaventosa,' Alessandro says.

Translation: Scary Girl

'Chicos molestos,' I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat.

Translation: Annoying boys

*FOUR HOURS LATER*

'Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking,' the speakers say. 'If you would all sit down and buckle your seat belts because we are about to land.'

The seat belt sign on the ceiling glows.

Zoya's still asleep, with her AirPods in.

I guess she's really tired.

I look out of the window and see that the sun has just started to rise. I look at my phone and check the time.

6:35am

While we're landing, my ears get blocked and start to hurt, I heard that it was something to do with the air pressure once.

I get a couple pieces of gum and start chewing on them and drinking water.

I remember my mum telling me that this helps a lot.

She was right.

We finally land and I walk over to Zoya and shake her awake. She yawns, stretches and smiles up at me.
