'It was The Ravens,' Alora says. 'They planted the bomb'

'I told Adriano that he triggered a gang war,' Mother says.

'They where going to kill her!' I exclaim.

My head hurts even more, I haven't been able to sleep, knowing that Dilara is still unconscious.

'And now they aren't going to stop until one of you is dead.' Amira snaps.

'I will protect her with my life,' I snarl.

'Lets see if she even survives,' Xuan says fiddling with the curtains of the meeting room window.

'You insensitive dick!' Alora yells. She picks up her glass of water and throws it at him.

Xuan effortlessly dodges it. The cup shatters against the wall. He turns around and smirks at her.

'I'm just telling the truth cupcake,' he says. 'The girl's been unconscious for a week!'

'Unconscious, not dead.' Zoya snaps.

'Don't call me that.' She snarls.

'If you say so....cupcake,' Xuan smirks.

She grabs a knife from Zoya's waistband and gets out of her seat.

She pushes Xuan against the wall and presses the knife to his throat.

'Since you're apart of our mafia now,' She says. 'Let's lay out some ground rules.'

'Go ahead,' he smirks down at her.

'First you'll only speak when spoken to,' she says.

'What am I a dog?' He laughs. She presses the knife down harder, drawing blood.

'Precisely,' she snarls.

'Second, you stay the fuck away from all of us.' She hits him across the face and lets go of him.

'She's awake!' Lorenzo says running into the room. Everyone looks at him.

'Dilara's awake!' He laughs.

I don't have time to process anything, before I run past Lorenzo and run towards the medical room.

BACK TO DILARA'S POV:
'How are you feeling?' The doctor asks.

I focus on the heart monitor to my left. I look down at my bandaged arm. I'm changed out of my dress and into a white patients gown.

'Dizzy,' I reply. She hands me a glass of water and I drink from it.

'You've been unconscious for a while,' she says sitting on the end of the bed. 'Do you remember anything.'

'Only a loud ringing and Adriano telling me to get down,' I reply.

'A piece of the ceiling hit the back of your head, but you're lucky to be alive and remember most things,' she says.

She hands me a pack of tablets.

'Take two every four hours,' she says. 'It should help with the migraines and dizziness.'
