"Hey Allison, do you mind closing up tonight? Elijah and I are going on a date tonight and I'd hate to be covered in dough for this lovely evening. I promise at the end of this week it will all be well worth it." Cassie began to pack up her belongings, Allison perked her head up and smirked, "Are we talking raises here or am I going crazy?" Cassie laughed, "Yes we're talking raises, you've been working so hard and you deserve it." Allison began clapping her hands, "Well then I'd love to close up shop." The two girls began giggling, Cassie came to the front of the shop and watched as Allison worked away, "You're pretty good at this darling, would you consider being a business partner or is that too much?"

Allison looked up from the beignets she had been filling, "Wait seriously? If so I would absolutely love to!" Cassie smiled, "I like you Allison, you're sweet and kind, the customers rave about your hard work, plus you've handled my news very well." Allison wiped her hands off on her apron, "You mean the news that you and your boyfriend are thousand year old vampires?" Cassie laughed, looking down at her feet, "Yes, anyone else would go running for the hills. If you don't mind me asking, why did you stay?" Allison shrugged, "You've given me no reason to be afraid, you opened up your life to me and I'll forever be grateful for that. When I was at my lowest, you gave me a job, when my car was too cold during the night, you let me stay in your gorgeous home and kept me warm. You have done so much for me, the least I can do is be nice about it." Cassie began to blush, looking back up at Allison.

"And I thank you for that." Allison nodded, "I do have one small idea though." Cassie walked up to the counter and leaned on it, "What might that be?" Allison bit her lip, "Blue walls, not that I don't love the pink but I think blue would suit the place better." Cassie looked around, observing the place slightly, "We'll do it, place is closed on Sunday, we can do it then, I'll have Elijah come in and help us." Allison's eyes brightened, "Really?" Cassie nodded, chuckling slightly at her reaction, "Sure, this place has been the same since the 40s, it could use some change." Allison was beaming at the response, "Also, what's with the spoon on the wall?" Cassie looked over at it. Up on the walls sat a bright with frame, inside sat a spoon, on the inside of the frame laid the words, first appliance. "That's not important for now."

The wind hit her face with force, the branches snapped under her feet, she tried to avoid the obstacles in her path but was failing miserably as she had already tripped twice. Cassie hated running, using vampire speed was different but just plain jogging was boring to her. Stefan had suggested it to take her mind off of things, and like an idiot, she obliged. Cassie eventually stopped, looking back she realized she had no idea where she was. It's not like she was worried, she was a vampire and an old one as well. Cassie stopped and stretched out her back, groaning slightly. A crack of a branch behind her immediately turned her attention.

Cassie began slowly turning around, trying to locate the sound. Nothing, there was complete silence, "If you're going to try to kill me, I advise you not to." Cassie kept looking around for any sign of a life out in the woods. Cassie looked back in the direction she came from when something came and wrapped around her waist. Cassie struggled against the force, she pulled her head forward and snapped it back with all of her might. It collided hard with something behind her, a groan came out and Cassie turned around, "Nik? What are you doing?" Klaus held his bleeding nose, "I was trying to say hello but seems like someone isn't in a very friendly mood." Cassie rolled her eyes, "Last time I saw you I tried to kill you, quit it with the nice act, what do you want?" Klaus looked up at her, the blood still dripping from his nose.

"Can't I just talk to you without wanting something? We were in love once you know." Cassie chuckled, "No, we were young and stupid, if that is your definition of love I pity the women you may encounter." Klaus wiped his nose, "Oh yes because you and Elijah are so perfect, if you don't mind me asking, has he told you what he's been up to the last few months whilst you've been gone?" Cassie raised her hand and slapped Klaus across the face, "Consider that a warning, don't you dare test my relationship just because you're jealous." Klaus began to laugh, "Don't get your knickers in a twist love, I was just playing around." He gave her that god awful smirk, Cassie rubbed her temples, "You're insufferable." He looked her up and down, "Oh I know, yet it's so much fun getting you all frustrated." He took another step towards her, Cassie brought her gaze up, looking him dead in the eye, "Go to hell."
