"Go for the neck, head, or heart... nothing else, go for the torso and it gives your enemy an advantage that you cannot afford." Elijah motioned upwards and she obliged, "Yeah yeah... it's the fourth time you've said that."

"Allison I am teaching you to fight, properly, if you wish to die, be my guest." She giggled and gave him a slight eye roll, "You'd never let me die, Cassie worked her ass off to bring me back, plus you love me."

"That does not matter. There will come a day when neither one of us are there to protect you... that is the day that you shall be grateful for me being... what was it? Oh a pretentious douche..." Allison smiled and held her fists up, swaying her body back and forth.

"Do you blame me?" He shook his head as a smirk spread across his face, "Not at all, I'm sorry I assumed that you liked me." She stopped and dropped her hands down to her sides, "I love you Elijah."

He seemed a bit taken back by that, his smile growing and fading at the same time. With his guard down Allison used her new found vampire speed and landed a punch right in his jaw. "Element of surprise."

He gripped his jaw and chuckled, "Well played... you take after your aunt, even freshly turned she was quick... and she played dirty." She smiled, a bit of pride swelling in her chest. "She was also distraction prone."

Elijah grabbed her wrist and spun her so her back was pressed against his chest, "You're one to talk!" Allison threw her head back and it collided with his nose, causing his harsh stance to crumble. She used that to her advantage and flipped his arm around so it was pressed to his back, effectively pinning it behind him.

"Heart to heart while I have you stuck for the moment?" Elijah quickly pulled his hand away and Allison was quick to realize she never really had the upper hand here. "Is everything alright?" She nodded and shook her hands, "Oh yeah, no! Everything's fine just wanted to talk to you about something..."

"Your tone is making me worried... Allison whatever it is I can assure you, it will be alright." She giggled a bit at the idea of Elijah thinking this was some serious conversation. "Do you love Cass?" For the second time this morning his brain seemed to have halted in it's thinking process.

With raised eyebrows Allison could tell he was shocked by her question. "Whatever do you mean?" He was quick to dismiss her antics, though Allison was often referred to as angel, she did love her fair share of trouble making.

"Don't do that, don't play dumb with me. You love her Elijah... and as much as I love my aunt, her heart lies elsewhere." Elijah paused for a moment and stared down at the ground, fixing the sleeve of his button up shirt. "I am well aware of where her interests lie."

"And you don't care? You don't care that she's in love with Hayley?" Allison watched as his movements slowed for a second, before picking right back up, "No I do not. Her heart has been broken more times than any of us could count, many of those times by my own doing...

I want nothing more than to be there for her and provide her a mere sense comfort." Though his words were meaningful, she couldn't help but smirk. "You mean be her friend with benefits?" Elijah snapped his head up to stare at her, "I'm the only other vampire in the house and you two aren't exactly quiet. It's been going on ever since Avery's first full moon."

"As much as I care about you lovely Allison... this matter does not concern you. What your aunt and I do... is between the two of us." She gave him a once over, his rigid posture was almost unbearable, the fresh autumn air becoming awfully uncomfortable.

"She's in love with Hayley..." A small grunt escaped from his lips, before pressing them together. "I know that Allison..." Her eyes slightly widened, "You know and you aren't going to do anything about it?"
