Eren's POV

What a long and tiring day to finish off with. I first had to run all over the city because this guy was selling our weapons illegally in the black market, I secondly met a woman who's as crazy as she looks but somehow got our number. Like literally I just got back to the station and I already have twelve messages from her. Thirdly we had to literally run on rooftops, freaking rooftops! Are you kidding me?!

I guess it could have been worst, I could of died. My mom told me not to think so negatively on things like death and to see the brighter things in life like living. Living through life could be hard but that's the adventure. She was right though, she had always been right from the beginning to the very end.

It took hours but we finally found that guy on the rooftops and for some reason there was someone else up there as well. I thought the two men could have been working together. When Pixis told me to stay, I wanted to see if he really was or not. I turned and decided to helped him up, he hesitated for a moment before accepting my offer. I chuckled when I realized he was a clean freak. I turned my attention to the sky before he can shoot me a glare that could cut a person. He should really be asleep though shouldn't he?

"What were you doing up here in the middle of the night?" I turned to look at him even though he probably couldn't see my face with the lack of light.

"Is it bad that I couldn't sleep? Besides I wanted to look at the stars," he said turning to look at my shadowed face.

'He could of seen it from his window,' I thought before looking to see for myself. "Why, would you look at that? It is beautiful out here..... But it's also dangerous, so next time try not to be alone alright?" I gave him a small smile but still left a serious glare on that he couldn't see. I laid down, deciding to look at the stars too.

"Fine..... And by the way you're here now. So, technically I'm not alone am I?" he said as he stands up from where he was as I chuckled softly.

"You're not bad. Here I am thinking that you could of been helping that guy who ran passed. I'm glad I was wrong for once," I got up and fixed my hat as he went to the edge of the rooftop to go back where he had came from. He turned to see if I was still here which I was. The moon making his skin a porcelain color and his eyes the color of steel. I wonder if those were his real eyes or not?

"Hey, what's your name?" I asked before he left for the night. He stopped in his tracks, turning to stare at me with those steel orbs.

"Just call me Levi.... What might yours be?" he asked. Of course just before I could answer, Pixis and Rico had came back. I would call her by her last name but it's too long.

"Yeager! The culprit was found. We need you back," Rico said as she turned to take a look at Levi before leaving. I turned back to look at him sheepishly and a little sad that I couldn't tell him my name real quick. If I tried, Rico would if written me up for slacking on the mission.

"Well that's my cue. We shall meet again," I started to walk off before I turned back around. "And goodnight Levi." I said before I ran off into the darkness, back to headquarters. Who knows, maybe I'll see him again.

Its been a couple of days since then and I've been off duty from missions. Armin Arlert has been covering me for the pass few days so I could catch up writing reports about such. We were in the same training group when we were young. Even though he wasn't in the top ten for his physical prowess, he passed with his IQ and strategic skills that helped us in many cases since.
