Levi's POV

We arrived at the party around eight, late of course because of damn Shitty-glasses here. Somehow getting us lost on every street there was. Eren offered to show us the way, but Hanji wanted to do it herself. By using the layout of the two nights we physically went out of our visit, base off of her own knowledge. I swear she gets on my last nerves but I don't want to be a complete ass tonight. I just rolled my eyes as I try not to notice her, deciding to deal with her later. We entered through the doors as Hanji looks around in awe, she ran off to a couple of people that she immediately recognizes. Leaving me alone with Eren by the front entrance.

He looked really handsome in his suit as the light reflected into his dark brown hair, his eyes scanning the crowd before landing back on me. I couldn't get over his smile, the way his face lights up the room, and how he can go to a dashing young guy one minute and can be serious the next without hesitation as he scanned the crowd once more. It was a stupid smile but that's what makes him, well him. Especially as we converse over text messages. He types as he talks, humorously and aggravating.

"So this is the place, I'm technically supposed to be working here but only if anything happens," I looked up as Eren started to talk.

"If you're working then why invite Shitty-glasses and I here?" I scoffed as I looked at the others who are well dressed in suits and ball gowns. One of those damn dresses had so much sparkle and shine it hurt my eyes to look at it for long. I'm praying that none of the glitter ended up on me by the end of the night from those cheap ass masks that they have just laying around.

"Is it bad for me to have some company?" he smirked lightly.

"It is if a situation occurs. Look around, there's plenty of people to talk to," I said.

He simply chuckled as people started to dance, not a bad choice in music even though I've barely heard anything from this artist. They dimmed the lights slightly as people put on their masks, I had a plain white one to cover my cheeks and forehead while Eren had one like mine but black with small gray indications within the edges. I spotted Shitty-glasses messing with a guy with short blonde hair and a girl with long black hair, they also wore masks as well so I couldn't tell who they were. I turned back to look at Eren, bumping into him. I didn't know that he had stopped in the first place until my face was in contact with his back.

"If you want to dance you could of just said so," he chuckled softly as he placed his hand on my back.

"As flattering as that sounds I'll have to deny. I only came to be 'social' not to dance," I made a soft scoffed noise as I look down. "Besides I never really danced before so..." Before I could say anything else I was being dragged to the dance floor.

"Well that's one of the reasons to go. We all need to live a little before one day it's simply gone. So I'll ask you again," he turns to me and holds out a hand. "Will you dance with me?"

He looks at me as I stare into those turquoise eyes of his, seeing myself in the reflection as well as the entire ballroom but that didn't matter for I was in the center of it all. I wish I could stare into them for eternity, but I know that I cannot for we don't live forever. No one can, for we would die before eternity ever comes. I turn away from his gaze as I nod lightly, he stands up straight as he pulls me a little closer so I can put one hand on his shoulder and he puts one at my waist. I have no idea what to do as he took the first step.

"Don't worry. I got you if you fall," he leans in whispering in my ear.

I simply nod as I look down to my feet as I watch his move, trying my best to mimic his movements. After a couple of trips and wrong footing I kind of got use to it. Not enough to look up at him and really enjoy the dancing but enough for me to be considered dancing. He spins me around as I tightened my grip slightly, he pulls me back as my face lands in his chest. I heard him softly, compare to the loud band that was playing as he moves one of his hands to tilt my head up to look at him. I had no choice as I look up to him, catching his stupid grin.
