Eren's POV

My mind was a mess, thinking about Levi and now of how I have to have this old burden on my shoulders once again. I told myself if we found nothing to forget about the entire thing. For the three in a half years in training I did. After that I went on living here for one and a half years, five long years in total with the thought in the back of my mind instead of living. Recently. time has been going faster. Every time I'm with Levi, it seems like we never get a lot of time cause next thing you know it's already dark. He could be leaving soon, why would he stay here? Of all the places he's been he could of had a boyfriend for all I know.

I could of asked but I didn't, sometimes I forget the simple things. I just wanted to be happy. I could of just been a booty call but not really since we haven't really done anything. Hell, I don't even know what we are but I want to be with him. He just doesn't know the real me. I feel like I'm living for the first time but in a lie.

I drove back to my house as I open the door, I stopped in my tracks as I heard someone walking around inside. I pulled out my gun as I have it strap to the thigh of my right leg. I slowly open the door as I entered quietly, looking around I closed it lightly. I walked to the kitchen as I stopped to listen, hearing the sounds that are coming from upstairs. I walked up the stairs as I stop at the top step. Whoever it was made it to my bedroom. The door was cracked open as I stopped at the door, I heard the person inside as I lifted my gun before barging in.

"Put your hands up. Do it now!" I said as the man reaches his hands over his head.

I held my gun steady in my hands as I walked a little closer. He was close to my closet, about to find my mission reports over the years. If he looked well enough he would have also found my passports and money in case I had to leave town. I didn't really get a good look at him since it was dark in the room. The way my house is positioned I get a good view of the stars but not as the sun rises, mainly as it sets.

"Stand up slowly and turn around," I said.

He stands up, tripping slightly as he regains his balance. I can see him more as he's in jeans and a black t-shirt but his hair is really dark as the shadows cross his face and arms as he turns around. The lights started to dim slightly as I told him to walk closer before I heard him speak.

"Eren? Shit what the hell are you doing?!"

It was Levi's voice. I sighed in relief as I pointed the gun away as he puts his arms down as well. He runs his hands through his hair as he sat on the corner of my bed. I stood where I was as I holster my gun away before moving to sit by him.

"I didn't think anyone would be in my room," I said a little sheepishly as I took my hat off.

"Well I didn't know where the hell I was so I was trying to find any pictures or mail or something to see where I was. I didn't mean to snoop around," he said as he was shaking slightly because of the encounter.

"It's fine. I forgot that you were here since last night. I had to be called into work today," I said as I looked at my hat.

"What happened last night? For I don't remember anything really," he said.

"Well, what do you last remember Levi?" I asked.

"We finished eating and then we continued to walk until you stopped. You offered me your hand so that you can show me a better view of the stars," he said.

I remembered that, he was looking at the stars. I know how much he likes to look at them so I figured that I can show him a better view as I offered my hand to him. He took it after I started to walk through the labyrinth of the alleyway. From what seems like an hour later we came to a ladder that leads up to the rooftops. I moved aside so that he could go first but he was hesitant.
