Levi's POV

I woke up and found myself alone. Of course for me I was used to it for traveling for so long, but this time the other side of the bed was made neatly as if someone was there. I heard a noise near the balcony when I realized I wasn't even at Historia's place where I was supposed to be. I jumped slightly at the noise again as I got up quietly from the bed to go look out the balcony. It was a nice view of the city and slightly different than when I was on the roof that day. I can see more of the sky than the buildings. The house itself resembles the rest base off of exterior, the only thing different was the interior. I turned back inside to take in more of my surroundings to see if there were any signs of where I ended up.

It was a cream color room with the glass door that lead out to the balcony where I just was, the bed was a Queen size with white throw sheets and brown pillowcases. The brown comforters were on the ground, it must of happened when I woke up in a jolt. I closed the door of the balcony and walked to one of the doors that was in there, hearing my feet patting on the wooden floor. It was the restroom which had stone tile walls and a shower with no tub, weird but I guess if someone wanted a bath to search somewhere else in the house. I turn and opened the other door in the room as it leads into the hallway of the same cream colored walls, I walked out as I left the foreign room to explore the rest of the house.

Eren's POV

I had to go in early today but was promised that the next few days I'll be off. I rushed off from my chair to Mikasa's office as I had to show her what I found on my surroundings when I was undercover a couple of weeks ago. She was on her computer when I barged in without knocking. I threw the manila folder on her desk for her to see, she glanced up at me before taking the folder as I turn to walk out.

"You've been with him haven't you?" She asked with her eyes glued to the folder. Well it was more like a statement, I thought she was talking to herself as she normally does. That was until she lifted her eyebrows, waiting for my answer.

"This is irrelevant to this case Mikasa," I said blandly. I tried to avoid talking about relationships at the workplace. I find it unprofessional and unimportant. I went to the door again but Mikasa wouldn't drop it.

"But it could affect it Eren and you know it. What if one day you're out on a mission and he gets targeted? You can't do anything about it since you have no idea where he might be," she stated coldly. "We here won't know anything about him or to who is after."

She was right though, Levi knew little to nothing about me apart from my 'job' that he knows. When I get home I can tell him or I can try to call him but now I'm at work. I took this as my chance to leave. I didn't acknowledge Mikasa as I finally walked out, dropping the topic before it could advance on any further. I took her folder that was on her desk and went back to my office. I sighed to myself as I took a lunch break. I needed to clear my head and to figure out what to tell Levi when I see him later on.

Many hours had passed and a little while later Armin walks in. Without knocking about his presence of course since we were the only ones who didn't do that to each other. I thought it was Mikasa at first but she didn't talk right away. With the power of deduction it had to be Armin.

"What is it Armin?" I asked without lifting my head to look at him. I was busy with my own work as I was finishing the last of my lunch. I was in the middle of finishing up some files when he barged in.

Armin walked in as he sits on the chair that's in front of my desk. He seems a little jittery as I glance up at him. He was awfully quiet compared to his normal self earlier. He would never sit in those chairs unless he had something important to say or discuss. I set my pen down as I ran my hands through my hair out of the stress that Mikasa had added on. I don't like the look of what this might become.

"S-Something happened Eren...." He stutters as he continues to look down.

I get up to see him more clearly, I saw that he had a suitcase in his hands. He was clenching onto it with so much of his strength that his knuckles was starting to turn white. I knelt next to his seat as I looked at him, he avoided my gaze the best he could.

"Armin? What's in the case?" I asked softly at first but he continues to look away.

He never stutters, not even when we were in training. He's been there ever since the beginning. He helped me through it all, seeing him in this state worries me so much.

"Arlert. This is an order. Open the case and tell me what is it," I said in a more serious tone. I'm not his superior nor is he mine. When an order is given, we don't question who it's from.

Armin flinches slightly as he opens it, I recognized the papers that were in the case. It was my birth certificate as well as my parents information. I never told anyone about what happened to them but only three people Armin, Mikasa, and Petra because I had to. Armin and Mikasa were there when it happened long ago.

"What is the meaning of this?!" I got a little furious about this. This shouldn't of even be here, I locked them up for good when I joined the Survey Corps after training. How was he able to access the information without my knowledge?

Armin sets the suitcase on my desk as he stands up and salutes, he picks his head up as he tries to clear his vision before speaking. He was like a son to them as well since his parents were barely home for work and his grandfather was old. I was upset, I threw all of the papers off my desk out of fury. I watched as page after page started to fall to the ground. The suitcase landing on its side. We both watch them fall without moving to save them.

"At ease... Please tell me why you brought this in here," I said softly as I tried to calm myself. I had the tendency to get angry but nothing that resulted in physical violence. Armin started to pick up the papers as did I.

Once we finished picking up all the papers and stacking them up he pulls one out for me to read. It was when my mother, Carla Yeager got murdered and my father went missing. I figured he was the one that killed her until we found his body in the woods a couple of years later, even if it was him I couldn't ask him to be if I wanted to.

"Armin I know this information but why-" I asked before he cut me off.

"Shut up and listen for once, please. I don't normally yell at you unless it's something important. I know you were devastated when she died, so were Mikasa and I. Especially you, but we found them Eren! We found out who is responsible for it all and you can have your vengeance," he said as his bright eyes started to shine a darkness that I haven't seen in a while.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was impossible that after all of these years that someone was to blame now. I started to cry as Armin leans in to give me a hug, I clenched onto his shirt as he soothes me.

"B-But h-how?!... Does Mikasa know yet?" I asked as I pulled myself away from his shirt.

He nods no as I got up to gather up the papers and place them all back into the suitcase and close the clamps shut, pretending they're not really there until I can deal with them later. I can't think straight now, I have to go home. I have to do something, I need a break before I can go back into the past once more, before leaving it all behind for good this time. During training all I focused on was being in shape so that I can find those bastards who killed her. Until my father's body was found, then I just focused on finishing and getting a decent job that pays. Now what I was trained for will be put to use and I have no idea where to start.

"I-I have to go home.... I'm not feeling like myself..." I said as I started to gather my things. Armin watched me as he was about to question my actions before I cut him off. "It's alright Armin. I'm okay... Really. I just need a couple of days before we can officially start on this. I promise," I said as I gathered the last of my things before grabbing the suitcase that Armin brought and left to go back to my place.

My mother, my father, and what happened to me during training. I can finally put a face on the person responsible for this entire mess. I wiped my face clean as I head out the doors. This is going to require a lot of energy, barely this information itself is tiresome. Maybe a nap is required when I make it back home.
