Two to tangle

I woke up shortly and noticed I was parked outside the mansion.

I came down and rode in.

Frederick found me walking in. He rode in and asked if I was okay.
I shook my head when Mom came running downstairs.
She panicked, and we both forgot what was to talk about and ran to her aid.
"Mom, are you okay?" I asked her.
She grabbed my shirt and stuttered Sophia's name in panic.
Immediately, I pulled her away and rushed up to her room.
I barged in with Fredrick, and we met Sophia lying unconscious on the ground.
I asked Fredrick to call the doctor and carried her up to her bed. Fredrick phoned the doctor and announced he was on the way
We both waited for him to come. After some time, he got home, and Mom brought him in.
He walked towards her and asked us to pull away from her a little.
We all did and anxiously waited for the report.

Afterward, the doctor turned around and smiled at Fredrick.
He came to him and forcefully drew his hands up.
"Congratulations, sir. Your wife is pregnant?"
He said.

Immediately, I got sick. Fredrick bowed his head down a little and grinned at me with anger.
He lifted his head and asked Mom to walk the doctor to the front door.
I volunteered to, however, Mom asked me not to bother and stay back with my brother.

I shook my head, and she left with him.
I turned around, and Fredrick whacked my jaw.
"How dare you."
He grabbed my shirt.
"You slept with Sophia; how could you be so wicked?"
He dragged me back, and I slammed my head on the wall...

"Fredrick".
I got back on my feet and asked him to calm down. He got over his head and tried to dagger me with a knife he found lying in the fruit basket Mom had sent to the room.
She walks in right after and sees us fighting.
"What's happening?" She says.
Fredrick pulled away and walked out of the room.

Sophia finally wakes and notices something strange.
She tries getting up from the bed; however, Mom runs ahead and asks her not to.
She said she wouldn't want anything to happen to her grandchild.

Sophia lifts her head in awe. Mom nods and tells her everything.
She turns back and finds me grinning.
Mom saw that and sensed something strange.
I saw the look on her face and stylishly left the room.
I came down, and I met Yulan on my way to the kitchen.
She came ahead and slapped me.
I knew why she did that; Frederick must have told her.

I avoided her tantrums and walked my way.

Thereafter, Mom walked in to get a glass of warm milk for Sophia. She saw me trying to do that and warmly wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Chris, how did you know Sophia would need warm milk?"
She asked me.
I turned around and lied that it was just an intuition.
Mom kissed my cheeks and thanked me for being a good son to her and brother to Fredrick.
Speak of the devil, he walked in and found us talking.
Fredrick turned around to leave immediately when Mom called him back.
She left me and came to him.
Fredrick lowered his gaze when they both spoke together.
Later, before leaving, Mom congratulated him; I heard him wrestling my hands together.

I had the warm milk poured into a glass cup on a tray.
Fredrick stood watching Mom leave. I rode past without expecting anything to happen; however, he grabbed my hands and almost dropped the glass on the ground.

I turned around and shouted at him...
Frederick, however, conveyed his anger for what happened and swore to make me pay a huge price for sleeping with his wife.
