I left Fredrick in the kitchen and walked up to Sophia's room. I rode inside after knocking, and she got up and found me bringing out a glass of warm milk for her.
She sat on the bed and collected the glass. I sat down next to her, but couldn't help feeling like she was nervous.
"Sophia, are you okay?" I asked.

She met me and shook her head.
I received a call right after that from Inspector Jude, who wanted me to meet him at the coffee shop, which was a few blocks away.

Sophia sent me off; I hurried out of her room and went to join him.

I arrived at the coffee shop, and he waved at me. I rode close and pulled out a chair to sit.

He thanked me for coming and brought out a file from his bag.
"What is this?" I asked.
"Take a look," He answered back

I got a little curious to know what was written inside. I opened the file and saw it was some photos of a man whose identity was sealed.
I looked up, and he said the man in the photo was seen taking Rina's body away from the hospital.
The CCTV footage took a clip of him while he left.
I looked closely at the photo. I thought I might recognize him, but no, he wasn't familiar in the least.

I asked about Rina's body, and he confirmed it was still missing.

I'm guessing the man in the picture should know what happened to Rina's body.

I came home afterward. Everyone was fast asleep. I passed Sophia's bedroom and caught her trying to zip up her nightdress.
I knocked, and she veered around and saw me standing at the door.
She smiled and invited me in.

I strolled in her direction.
"Hey, do you need help with that?"

I turned to her back and helped her zip up.
She grinned a little and pulled me down to a seat on the bed.

"Tell me, what did Inspector Jude want from you?" She laid her head on my lap.
"Nothing, he wanted us to see and talk?" I lied.
She grunted so tiredly and pulled up.
I noticed she was sleepy and asked her to take a rest while I went to see Mom.

Sophia nodded and wrapped herself inside the sheets.
I walked outside but hesitated to leave. I turned and met her already asleep.
I know I shouldn't have lied to her, but telling Sophia that Rina might still be alive wouldn't just open old wounds but make her paranoid.

"Sir Chris?"
I walked down to my room when I heard someone calling out my name.
I looked back, and Karis, one of the maids at home, came running after me.
"Karis, what happened?"
I held her from falling.
She looked up and asked me to come with her.
I couldn't understand why, but I did, and we went to the balcony together. She pointed out a direction, and I saw Yulan talking to a man.
I stretched my eyes a little to get a glimpse of the man's identity; however, it was so dark that it was stifled from me.
Karis ran out immediately and came next. I got to the front door to see clearly what was happening when Yulan walked inside in a hurry.

"Chris, what is happening?" She looked scared.
I looked outside and noticed that the man she spoke with had gone. I came back to her and asked about him.
Yulan went quiet for a while, gazing at me.
She laughed afterward and said it was someone she had met at the gym today, and he walked past me.
I turned around and saw her walking to her bedroom. Why don't I believe her? Something is wrong somewhere.
