"Wei Wuxian, what in the name of heavens is this!" Jin Ling yelled as soon as he entered the Jingshi and stepped on a pile of papers. They immediately scattered all around.
Of course, he had expected to see some untidiness, he knew his uncle after all. It was because of this that Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi called him to the Cloud Recesses. So he could spoke to Wei Wuxian and try to distract him while Lan Wangji was away on Chief cultivator business.
His friends had said they needed some minor help with managing a very bored Wei Wuxian, but this was way over everything Jin Ling had been prepared for. The whole place was a mess!
No, he would not stand for this. It was just too much.
Something – a human being if one let their imagination help – moved close to the desk and a second later, a dishevelled and yawning Wei Wuxian sat up.
As soon as he noticed him, he beamed: "Jin Ling, that is a pleasant surprise! Come inside!"
Jin Ling turned on his heel, pouting: "Tidy up first, then we can talk." This level of mess was simply too much even for him.
