Fishing wasn't everyone's typical hobby, but for Jin, it held a special place in his heart. His dad loved fishing, and they shared
many memorable moments together before his passing, especially during winter before his birthday.

Those times by the lake were cherished memories for Jin, a reminder of the strong bond they shared. Today, they all drove down to the lake to fish, bringing along fishing rods, reels, lines, bait, ice coolers, hooks, and fishing lures.

Setting up their gear, they settled into outdoor camping chairs, enjoying the serene scenery that surrounded them."Okay, Namjoon, you're up first. Come on, I'll teach you," Jin called out to Namjoon, standing by the lake with his rod in hand.

Namjoon rose from his seat, eager to learn from Jin's expertise, and joined him by the water's edge"Now, for the gear, keep it simple. Get your bait, attach your line, tie your hook, find a good fishing spot, and be patient," Jin illustrated with his own fishing rod, Namjoon following suit.

Both of them stood patiently, awaiting their catch.Five minutes later, Jin felt a tug on his line, and he began reeling something in from the water. Everyone gasped as they saw he had caught a cobia fish, gently handling it with his fishing gloves and placing it in the cooler.

"Oh, seems like I've caught something but it's so big," Namjoon exclaimed, garnering everyone's attention. He struggled to reel it in, but the fish seemed determined to escape.

"Easy there," Jin said, walking up to him. But Namjoon turned around with a poker face, the rod in his hand broken halfway as the fish got away with the bait.

"Ugh, that was supposed to be a good catch," Jin muttered, annoyed.

"You had one job, Namjoon, one job!" Jungkook shouted, with Taehyung on his lap as they shared a beer.

Namjoon showed him his middle finger, causing both Taehyung and Jungkook to chuckle "Come on, Tae, your turn," Jin said, signaling Taehyung to come over , Jungkook gets up following tae " you don't have to follow me you know  , I'll be fine" taehyung sasses.

" just want to make sure my baby doesn't get pulled in to the water by the mighty shark" jungkook jokes.

"Shark? I didn't think we were fishing for SHARKS!" Taehyung yelled, surprised, frozen on the spot as fear crept in.

"Hey, hey, relax - I'm just joking. Even if there are sharks, I'll fight them off for you, okay?" Jungkook comforted Taehyung, chuckling lightly and kissing him on the lips.

"After 7 hours of romantic moments, you're finally here," Jin said sarcastically, referring to Taehyung and Jungkook's non-stop love proclamations to each other.

He then handed them a rod, instructing them on what to do. They stood there, casting their lines into the lake, waiting for something to happen.

Twenty minutes later, Taehyung whined, "Jin hyung, I think Namjoon scared the fishes away. Nothing's happening," loosening his grip on the rod as his legs started to hurt from standing too long.

"Patience is k—" Jin couldn't finish his statement as Taehyung was pulled into the water with great force by whatever his hook caught, Jungkook not catching him in time.

"TAEEEE!!!" Jungkook yelled, taking off his jacket and jumping into the freezing water.

Jimin shot up from Hobi's lap, rushing to see if both of them were okay.

"My god! "

" TAEHYUNG -  JUNGKOOK!!!" He screamed in panic, Yoongi trying to calm him down.

Just then, Jungkook shot up from the water, holding an aggressively coughing Taehyung in his arms. They swam to the shore of the lake as the others pulled them up.

Both of them collapsed on the snow, gasping for air and freezing  "Oh my gosh, are you guys okay?" Jimin asked with worry.

"Do we look okay?" Jungkook sassed, their clothes soaking wet and they were freezing.

"I'm sorry jin ,  I ruined your fishing thingy," Taehyung said, wiping his face clean with a dry towel.

"No, it's okay. At least Hobi and Yoongi had a good catch, but the rest of you are terrible. Come on, let's go," Jin said, packing up and heading back to the cabin.
