"What do you mean I can't stay at my house?"
She shouted making renjun move back at her high pitched voice.
"your house is a crime scene we have currently sealed it"
jaemin told giving her cup of coffee which they had gotten on the way.
"Now where do you suppose i live?" She whined "you could live in an apartment your dad is rich or maybe at a friend for a while" chenle suggested "That would be dangerous" Renjun muttered keeping in mind the fact she was under ace's radar and now that hyunbin's plans were compromised she would be the first person anyone would want to take out.
"Yeah then i should live with you cause you're more dangerous" She joked giving a sarcastic smile referencing to his words in the car mocking him lightly.
"sure" he replied without looking up from the coffee he was busy drinking while the rest were devising a plan for her safety.
"Haha excuse me what?"
She furrowed her brows in confusion as he looked like he was ready to leave. Taking a glance at his watch he grabbed his phone.
"what? i just agreed I don't like repeating myself"
he told walking to the front door, the same habit of leaving was really becoming a nuisance for everyone.
"hey! Where are you going!" She shouted frustrated
"I don't want to work overtime today" he announced "wait up" she hurried behind the boy excusing herself from others in hurry.
"You must really think the world revolves around you"
she scoffed as he drove the car. He had his own life set which aligned with none others, his rules on which he was fixated.
"I don't"
he replied plainly not engaging much in conversation as the night deepened. It was already late enough and the insane amount of things which had happened in the past three days were more than tiring for him to be quarreling with her.
"you really need to get re educated your replies are annoying"
Clearly irritated at him she scoffed turning the radio on to avoid getting his lecture which he turned off not baring a glance.
"I guess that's how you thank people"
Renjun's words making her angrier by every second "why would i thank you?" She asked from what she can remember he was the one who had her stuck in this position.
"Well for getting you out of jail, taking your custody, also letting you stay at my place. do you want more reasons? i still have many left"
he replied parking the car swiftly in his garage as they reached his house.
"Oh well you were the one who got me locked up in the first place and secondly i didn't ask you to open a hotel for me I'm fully capable of handling myself"
She said crossing her arms huffing as she got out slamming the car door shut. Sighing he locked the car walking to her side where she stood in defiance. Taking steps towards her making her move back With a taunting chuckle he leaned to her height "well then if anything happens don't call me"
Diverting her eyes she pushed him lightly walking ahead of him "I'm here might as well stay" she mumbled
"you never told me you were rich" she said "you never asked" he shrugged leading the way "damn is that why you're rude and demanding i mean no hard feelings i would be too"
she said walking around the large mansion like house. His place screamed "Renjun" the dark grey exterior with a beautiful garden dimly lit with warm lights at the entrance.
"you're like millionaire detective except you're chinese working in korea"
She commented as he unlocked his main door showing her the way Inside.
"Well you know love does much but money does everything" he gave a light smirk making seohyun chuckle.
"you sounded a bit cool flexing your money like that"
The lack of lights which were turned on explained his aura to a deeper extent, the place was home in true sense. The feeling of being at peace an emotion she hadn't felt in years came washing over as she ventured deeper.
"I'll show you the guest room oh and don't go sight seeing in the house"
he said giving her slight glare knowing her intentions.
"is that a request?" She teased with a smile "an order" with that he closed the door to his room making her scoff.
"I see why he is single"
