Seohyun was woken up by consecutive knocks on door irritated and sleepy she groaned out.

"what!?" She whined not wanting to leave the warmth of the comforter. She couldn't remember the last time she had sleep this good, it was either the effect of being away from danger she felt 247 or the deep scented colonge which Renjun used which was intoxicating.

"we have to go ms park the killer is still on the loose"

renjun announced judging by his tone he must have been ready a long time. Yet she still craved to stay in today and take a full day leave the urge grew when she once again slumped in the soft pillows.

"10 minutes"
Her mumbles making him knock for a last time going to make himself a cup of warm coffee as the harshness of winter increasing as the days passed by.

"If were living together then kindly start waking up early" renjun hissed as Seohyun made her way hurriedly putting in her purple cardigan. It was rare right to see her in colours.

"excuse me mister you made me spend two nights in custody i was tired"
She hissed back as she worse her formal heels ready for another work day.
"easy tigress as a part of my job i had to check everyone"

He cleared the misconception that him keeping her as a suspect was not personal at all.

"even if it involves someone you love" she asked out of the blue not thinking before she spoke. Renjun who passed her a cup of hot chocolate raise his brow at her sudden question yet answered her anyways.

"that would depend if i had someone i loved"

"Sorry" she mumbled as they reached Infront of their office building. Not aware of the context as she had remained silent the whole car ride not uttering a single word sipping on the chocolate drink.

"huh? For what?" He inquired looking at her curiously

"the question got too personal..also for causing you inconvenience by staying" she said giving him a last look getting out of car hurring inside office not wanting to interact with him any longer.
With a weird look he entered the office clearly surprised if he had said something wrong to ruin her mood guessing it was due to the fact she was not a morning person had her upset.

Seeing jaemin standing at his cabin door he asked his business.
"did you guys fight again?"
Jaemin asked renjun making him shrug "no why?"

"Well apparently she stormed inside like you do when you are pissed off"

he explained how she didn't even greet anyone like she did usually making renjun nod still contemplating if it was indeed his fault.

"Moving on did you receive any information on admiral?" He asked walking to his office diverting the situation although keeping in his mind to bring this up later.

"i sent jeno for that, also chenle is running background check"
jaemin told

"great! Where is haechan?"

Renjun asked making jisung snicker who sat on his desk early morning cheerful oddly enough.

"probably flirting with seohyun" he gave a smile pointing the two who stood in the cafeteria talking to each other.

"tell him to come to my office" he gritted his teeth closing his office door. 
It was mid day everyone busy, Jeno had returned half an hour ago and was documenting his research so he may use that as an evidence.
A screech was heard in the office making everyone alert. Renjun who sat in his office quickly grabbed his gun quietly sneaking his way opening the door to peak at the situation outside.

Chenle was breathing heavily leaning against the desk opening the door he rushed to the younger who looked disheveled.

"chenle what the fuck happened are you ok?" Renjun asked concerned

"bad news cap" he exhaled sharply all the running upstairs had made him lose his breath. He always hated how their office was on the 3rd floor.

"The admiral is on loose"

"Goddamn it"

Renjun cursed under his breath all this effort to keep him under the rails and he could not be even contained for three days

"is everything ok?"

Seohyun asked as jaemin and hyuck followed the noise as well. As the whole team now gathered in the main lobby.

"Yeah your father is out again probably used his sources that damn motherf-

"Talking about me i see"

the deep voice of the admiral made renjun stop and glare at the older male. No way in hell he was allowing the man on whom they were going to press charges come here and ruin his peace further.

"leave"

Renjun clicked his tongue in annoyance making the older male chuckle humorously.

"sure I will but before that I'll take my daughter with me"

he announced taking light steps towards seohyun where she stood with her feet glued to the floor. To hear him call her his own flesh and daughter made her want to throw up, the person from she had been hiding and avoiding now walking towards her.

"you're not taking her anywhere"

Renjun's voice echoing the place making admiral stop to give the him a glare.

"That's MY DAUGHTER I'll take her anywhere i want, Park Seohyun we're going"

He said with a stern voice raising his decibel to assert dominance. When she didn't move an inch hyunbin lost his temper. He needed her out of this place right now even if he had to force her down.
As he went to grab her arm Renjun stood infront of seohyun

"looks like you're forgetting what i said 7 years ago aren't you?"
