A knock was heard on the door. Renjun cursed at who ever ruined their moment. Seohyun took a few steps back freeing herself from his strong grip.
"Come in"
Renjun said with a sigh.
chenle entered the office hugging seohyun just upon entering who was shocked to see him this happy

"hyun the results of fingerprint finally came"

he said making seohyun also beam with happiness turning around she saw jisung who was standing confused
"what happened?"
He asked as hearing chenle's loud statement everyone was alerted coming to Renjun's office.

"we now have a prime suspect"

She told jisung took a sigh of relief, finally after many months of hardwork they were near to catch the killer.

"Who is it?" Jaemin asked impatient.

"Park hyunbin"

"YOUR FATHER!?" jeno shouted taken back by the suspect seohyun stood there with a blank expression. She wasn't sure if she should shout with happiness or be prepared for something incoming.

"well we're not sure it's him" chenle tried to lighten the mood yet renjun let a scoff
"his alibi is fake" he announced nonchalantly, he was sure that it was him.

"We have evidence which supports that he is the murderer; a motive, fingerprints at the crime scene, fake alibi, also his phone location was at the crime scene in duration of time of murder"
renjun told making everyone nod agreeing
Suddenly something crossed the girl's mind.
"his hand"
seohyun said making renjun raise his brows
"pardon?"
"The criminal supposedly used his non dominant hand and hyunbin has his right hand injured prior"

Seohyun concluded making everyone surprise at how the dots had finally started to connect

"what happened to his right hand?" Haechan asked curious how he had injured his hand, and how they were so sure.

"oh well i shot him"
renjun shrugged sitting down on his chair sipping his coffee.

"YOU WHAT!?"
Haechan shouted while the others stood in shock as why he had acted so recklessly. Shooting a polic officer and that too of higher official could cause him to spend time in jail for a long time.

"nothing to worry it was an act of protection i talked with yang he has it all covered"

he brushed it off like it was nothing. Where as Haechan was still flabbergasted.
"come on jun! he sent you to jail you did nothing, he had you clean up after his crimes, what happened this time that you FREAKING SHOT HIS HAND??"
"And his leg"
renjun added with a smile, satisfied with the fact he had given mr park a preview.

"Renjun?? Man?? Seriously?"
Jaemin shook his head in disapproval.
"Served him right tho"
Chenle muttered.

Seohyun cleared her throat

"he tried to kill me" she told making everyone silent. They were beyond confused now.

"Why would he do that?" Jeno asked softly, concerned about her.

"because that's who he is jeno he killed my mother infront of my eyes attempted to kill me twice. I won't be surprised if he was ace all along"

she said as the whole department was filled with silence everyone was too shocked to proceed.

"Anyways I'll have an arrest warrant for hyunbin and hopefully with everything we can close this case within a week"
Renjun concluded everyone was partially relieved

"and everyone gets a day off or take two this case had us in a damn chokehold" renjun announced which obviously made everyone in the office take a sigh of relief happiness across their faces visible.

A comfortable silence in renjun's house as seohyun comfortably laid in the couch invested in binging vampire diaries renjun came downstairs standing infront of her "injun not now I'm busy" she clicked her tongue pushing him away from the screen

"aww come on baby we have day off"

"And i am having a blast binge watching vamps, i would rather not spend it with my boss"
she said making him chuckle sitting next to her.

"you died to be with me 7 years ago" he whispered seohyun rolled her eyes

"i did fucking not you're just delusional" she shrugged

"it won't hurt to go to an art museum with your boss, we can call it a date love" he whistled trying to get her going with him on their day off.

"do not tempt me I don't want to leave my house" she said

"Our house"
"Are you coming or do i have to pick you up?" He raised his brow in a teasing way a small smile on his face as he saw her annoyed.

"why do you always have to prove you're an alpha male"

"Because i am alpha male"

"No shut up"
she rolled her eyes at him annoyed renjun leaned closer with a devilish smile.

"You're an omega and you're gonna get up like a good little one before i make you love"
he said making her throw a cushion at him.
"Fuck you huang"
