"I thought we had this plan held back, why did you act on your own jun!"

Seohyun was angry at him, but more than that she was relieved because all of this was coming to an end. The mission they had been working for seven years was coming to an end hopefully In their victory.

"Hyun baby, chill. Let me get changed I have an investigation to make"

He was still the superintendent of the investigation department. And as soon as someone reports the dead body of sk pharma's CEO he will be called surely to lead the investigation on the murder, which he had just committed by his own hands.
Blood still dripping down his hands which had to be cleaned later.

"And the ring?"

She asked as he had brushed passed her walking up the stairs to take a bath. With a smile he turned his head to meet her nervous eyes.

"What about it?"

Seohyun took a step towards him holding her finger up to his face. She knew what it meant, she just wanted to hear the words from his own mouth. she didn't reply to him knowing he was aware what she wanted to hear.

"Do you want me to get on knees love?"

His question wasn't sarcastic and seohyun was well aware he would do whatever she said. but she simply shook her head.

"Not whilst you're covered in blood"

Renjun let out a laugh at her words it was small but seohyun smiled nonetheless getting her words across.

"Got the message hyun. I can arrange that after the trial ends, keep it as a couple ring till I make it as a wedding one"

Was it that easy for him to make her heart race? Few words and actions so big that made her ponder who much he actually loved her to the point he took revenge from every single responsible for ruining their life.
It all started with her urging a fresh graduate renjun to help her. After her mother's death, it was only him who helped her get through it all. In her mind all of it was still a vivid memory. It felt like yesterday when she had first ran into him.
It was humorous to her knowing how he had saved her life the moment they met, even as strangers. Seohyun had named it destiny. Twisted fate she didn't wanted to believe in at first.

"Get rid of evidence. I'll handle the department till then"

Renjun just nodded. Seohyun was more than capable of taking over his presence at times of need. He trusted her, he had trained her. She was strong and independent to begin with. All she needed was someone to rely on. A person who will stay with her supporting her like roots of a flower keeping it in place in strong wind.
Renjun had long decided that he would become that person for her. Holding her in every situation.
