It was past midnight, the cold wind blew harshly making the girl shiver, the black jacket barely stopped the coldness. Clicking of heels were heard the darkness of the area only seemed to increase as she was stopped by the male clearing his throat.
"Spying on me hyun?"
He chuckled lighting up his cigarette with a smug smile on his face.
"He thinks you're the killer" the girl replied stopping infront of the male who hummed at her statement.
"oh well congrats to him" he replied blowing out the smoke making the girl cough out in disgust, she hated the smell of cigarettes and how he never stopped when he was stressed.
"Damn it Renjun! i told you to stop smoking!"
She scolded raising her voice at him making him laugh lightly "Hmm...besides what made you wanna follow me here?"
He pulled her closer by the waist making her let out a gasp at his sudden action. Hands brushing her hair back waiting for her response. He was a nuisance and hazard to personal space.
"wooyoung asked for a favor, I'm double checking your identity"
she replied looking away, not beinv able to hold proper eye contact with him shy at the close proximity of their faces. The tendency to make her embarrassed by something so considerably small remained a mystery.
"you can handle him?" He hummed burying his face in her neck making her breath hitch due to his cold skin against her warm one for she had just gotten out of a heated car and he looked like he had been walking here for hours to freeze himself.
"O-ofcourse" her stuttered made him smile. A chuckle escaped his lips sending vibrations down her spine feeling all jiggly inside, stomach churning with butterflies.
"baby you're stuttering like I didn't hold you before" he said amused raising his head to look at her flushed face. "shut up jun I'll choke you" she replied with her cheeks red. Small hands tightly gripping his jacket.
"adorable" he mumbled looking at her All cute and vulnerable Infront of him. He simply couldn't resist, senses lost just by her doe eyes. Leaning down he placed a soft peck on her lips.
"Let's take you home love" he whispered with a small smile.
"Damn criminologist" she muttered making him laugh at her comment "love it when you curse at me" He muttered before stealing another kiss "fuck you" she said pushing him away "is that a wish?"
Oh how renjun and Seohyun didn't get along that well bickering and throwing comments but still quite respectably mean if i may add As they said that they were frenemies but together they were the best crime partners
"I'll shoot you someday Huang" Seohyun growled in a low voice to which he simply ignored grabbing her hand walking her to his car.
"I'd let you kill me if that makes you happy, my love" Renjun replied opening the door for her. As the two sat in the car Seohyun gazed at renjun who was about to start the engine.
"Thank you" She muttered as a sudden realization hit her of his mere presence in her life. The word itself held less meaning than how much she meant, she'd never be even able to express it for starters. "For?" He was taken by surprise, one moment she was cursing at him now she was thankful? "For being there for me, always" Hearing her words he had a calm smile on his face. Guess he didn't express much how he was hopelessly in love with her. How everyday he woke up only because of her. "I know" he hummed Grabbing his jacket she placed her lips on his. A light smirk on his lips as he could taste his strawberry flavored chapstick she loved in contrast to his taste of cigarette mixed.
